I love this!- all of the English Cover singers inspire me and I really hope one day I can sing and make english covers so that people like me can understand more about the song (idk enough japanese grammar to understand most of the stuff because I only know formal japanese)
Go for it! Just give it a shot and cover what you love! It was others who inspired me to start too like Sirhamnet or Jubyphonic back in 2014! Even if no one is listening at first it's good practice to start earlier before people actually listen to you so you can work on your technique and practice making videos without a lot of pressure. Riku Silver I used to play the piano and play the saxophone so I kind of know music but my main things are that I don't know too much japanese (I'm in year 3 at a lax school for nihongo) and I don't know how to make cover music to make music xD
FruitNinjaDragon Very few people who post covers actually know Japanese, I just get a translation from internet (i.e. websites like lyrical nonsense). Then I reword it into singable lyrics. I like to have mine be able to stand alone as a song if possible rather than rely too much on the listener needing to know the anime plot (i.e. I wouldn't put SUBARU LUV ME in these lyrics). I usually get instrumentals from the internet too. Sometimes I do make them if I don't want to wait for one (i.e. my tv sized cover of this song). I would just say test out things and get a free mixing program! Join a youtaite (people who do vocaloid covers, but a lot of them do anime covers too) community on facebook or google plus and ask questions. Get a twitter for your alias and socialize with other youtubers! Not saying you have to take any of these suggestions but i'd have to say making friends is probably one of the most valuable things you can do in making covers so I would try joining a group. Yeah! When it first came out I thought it was going to be a plotless harem anime (I hadn't read the books) so I pleasantly surprised! Plus it has an absolutely amazing OST which is definitely a major bonus for me because it gives me plenty of stuff to do!
Haha lol, I haven't read the books either. I'm just relieved that there has finally been a great series that is over 12 episodes for once! Never get them anymore...

5:06 the audio seems a little weird(Enough so that I stopped what I was doing to check it out), but other than that it's basically everything I was hoping for.

For my opinion, you sound like you're holding your voice. I mean it's like when you take a big dump, and you try to release that thing and you're like "HHNNNGGGG!". No harsh feelings here, I'm not a professional... I remember watching a Korean show, where a singer sounded like taking a dump(holding voice, his voice is pretty good tho), the judge said "You should avoid limiting yourself just to reach a pitch you can't control, let it all out. Otherwise it will destroy your vocal".

Best thing I like about you is that you're putting a lot of emotions into the song 10/10! But there are some part I want that lacks the emotion(correct tone). Maybe you can add whisper or an anger kinda tone. I really don't like songs that constantly uses the same emotion on each pattern. I usually look at songs like voice acting. Songs in the radio now adays are the worst =.="
Then again, I'm seriously not a professional, nor a singer, I can just only analyse what's wrong. Your voice is there but not close. 9/10!

Thank you! I was rem but then somebody pointed out she killed Subaru a couple times and then I was like... Yeah that's a thing. I'm still leaning towards rem but more open to Emilia at this point, I'll have to see as the series progresses.

Honestly I don't really care for sticking with the translation that much in general. You should go make your own lyrics and sing them if they bother you so much and it's so important to you.
