    Collegiate basketball season starts here in the States in November, & I think you should watch highlight reels every week. My alma mater, the University of Kansas, has consistently had one of the best teams in the league, & you might enjoy seeing this year's team play. James Naismith is the man who invented the game - in Massachusetts, but he pefected it here in Kansas. He was, I believe, the only losing coach for KU.

    I don't know the relative size of rugby or soccer athletes (my roommate tells me that one of our neighbours, across the street, is a professional soccer player, but I haven't met him), but American footballers & basketballers are massive people. I mean, I've ridden in lifts with NFL players, & standing behind 2 or 3 of them is like standing behind a wall. Baseball players aren't quite as large. I haven't been around basketballers in a while, but while they're generally taller than footballers, footballers tend to be much wider.

    If u like explosive point guards then watch Robert pack highlights. He played in the 90’s and was only 6’2 but could dunk anything
    Also the harden one was impressive not because of how fast he stripped the ball but because he was looking the opposite direction when he stripped the ball

    Fortunate to see Nate Robinson play football at the U of W before he decided to concentrate on his basketball for his 3 years . He went their on a football scholarship and quit after 1 yr but says a booster offered 100 grand for every year he'd play football , didn't take it.
    He is still the only 3 time winner of the NBA Dunk Contest and at only 5' 9" .

    7:20 if you are an nba player just let him shoot, stand in the paint while he misses some shots. He will shoot 1/8 from three. That is how you stop him. Is he electrifying? What question is that, yes. But in the case of Westbrook his game can be hit or miss. He makes some of the best highlights and historic numbers. (The reasons he will be in the hof), but he has probably the most lowlights and memes out of any player.

    Great reaction! You should check out Klay Thompson’s record breaking 14 three pointers in one game (broke his teammate Steph’s record of 13) or his 37 point quarter! I think sometimes his greatness is overshadowed by Steph since Steph is a GOAT when it comes to shooting, but he’s had some insane moments and deserves a tremendous amount of credit! So excited to have him back this season after his knee injury made him miss a season and then an Achilles injury that forced yet another season off.

    I hear folks arguing on who is the GOAT all the time so asking you .who is the Goat? People argue Jordan and some argue LeBron. My observation is Jordan was the Goat of his era but LeBron is the Goat of this era. Who will be the Goat after LeBron retires? My opinion at this moment in time is Giannis or Luka Doncic. Luka only if he gets a better supporting cast around him. Preseason starts tomorrow 10/3. Thank goodness I have NBA League Pass so I can watch the teams I like.

    If you don't already know about Tracy "T-Mac" McGrady you gotta do a deep dive literally he could be in the top 5 greatest of players to ever play the game of basketball but he was always on teams that lacked the ability to actually lock down championships but he was incredible to watch just an absolute monster amongst men.

  • @b7grams
    @b7grams 3 года назад

    I'm still saddened to this day that the Magic traded away McGrady during his prime. Ironically the Magic took Dwight Howard number one and traded for Jameer Nelson in the draft (4 days before McGrady was traded) as well as signed Hedo Turkoglu in free agency the same year McGrady went to Houston and began building what became one of the best teams in the league for a moment (before Howard whined his way out of town and got the great Stan Van Gundy fired). Imagine those mid-to-late 2000s Magic teams with McGrady: they might have actually won a Finals and not just made it to one to get steamrolled once again. Then again, by the end of the decade McGrady was a shell of his former self due to recurring injury problems, so perhaps he might have been more of a hinderance as that was around the time that Dwight Howard reached his peak dominance.
