I literally just started my own landscaping business this last month, have a few clients, currently working on a job I vastly underqouted but it's a learning curve. Your the big reason why I am where I am.
Just discovered your channel a week or so ago. You are a wealth of knowledge my friend. I am in the midst of my 2nd year in business . Weed Control and Fertilization in south Texas. Business is booming... Appreciate the content
I just got familiar with you like a week ago and I've learned so much in just that week it's crazy. Thank you for sharing this knowledge thank you for taking the time you do to motivate us and thank u for just being a good man
took 5th year to get to over 6 figures personal income (husband and myself 275k pretax income CAD with 2 employees). We work more than 40 hours. Also average about 74 per man hour but CAD not USD
Great content Keith Kalfas !!! Just opened last week have 4 good accounts with up sales on hedges. Still working on my full time job doing lawn service in up scale community part time . I’ve been a fan for a while, very easy to comprehend for working class men Great stuff very inspirational
Yo Keith how do you deal with fixing equiptment vehicles or clients when all of it happens at once clients meaning the client doesn't want a monthly wants to skip a month so on so forth need an advice👍
The wheel and spokes sound like something similar to the Dharma. I incorporate Natural Law in everything I do, many may not understand it but we are all at different levels. Thanks for your sharing your wisdom I appreciate what you are doing for us.
💯 Mindset is the first step I believe, if you can’t manage yourself it will be very hard to manage to business, I did 60k last year in lawn care 100k is my goal for 2022
Sounds like you are onto something Keith, I like it. I think about this stuff a lot, but nobody fully understands it. You have to have faith the process will work in the end. This is where many fail, no faith in anything. It is not easy believing things one cannot see yet. I am solo as a second job and did a little over 80G in sales after 11 years in this biz, and put a little less than half in pocket after all expenses. Now tweaking things for better margins, no time to do more work.
As you said trust the numbers. Think your situation through and prepare before advancing. As I am doing that I start chalenging myself. Take for example the tree trimming/removal side of my business. Mentally I wanted to do it because not a lot of people here on the island know how to propely do it so I strated reading about it and looking at vids on youtube. Financially I started buying the tools I needed and gradually upgrading. In my soul I knew I had to overcome my fear of hights, so I started preparing and chalenging myself to do so. And now I am at the point of removing 40ft trees. That was the simplest example I could think of. But I follow this theory with everything I do. It's something I leared at kickboxing. Before the fight you need to be in sinq. Mind, body and spirit. This works best for me and I hope it makes some sence to you. Oh and I pray to. To be honest sometimes I am scared shitless

Heck yea. Keep it up 👍🏼
I’ve been doing that too, I get started and realized this is gonna take 2 hours and should of charged more
@@hepler228 for real lol, typically if I'm working solo I'll charge 25 an hour times 1.5 to calculate labor cost
Thank you Keith Needed to hear this

Nice to meet you bro.
Wow why is it you are always sharing words of wisdom?
I do believe I'm setting myself up to Crack 100k, don't know if it's this year but who knows. It's only May.

There is no substitute for experience. And I like that mantra you presented… I’m gonna marinate on that!
Mr. Keith, quick question. How much capital do you think I would need to purchase landscaping equipment
50 to 60 small mows with cleanups and trimming will generate 100k. You can do 10 a day by yourself with a walk behind
This is great knowledge. I’ve been watching for a couple years. Has nothing to do with my handyman business but yet, it does. Cheers bro!!

Lol the typical landscape company profit margin ranges is 5%-20%. That means if you hit 100k, you are only netting $5000 to $20000
You tell em Eric Sloan
Gotta start somewhere
@@keith-kalfas how about start at Mcdonald's if you're only netting 5-20%
@john smith No, even landscaping companies make that low %. It's insane.
Not true.
You can't run on emotional trait, you have to use facts.
👍✌
Mr Brian Nelson is the best, recommending him to all beginners who wants to recover losses like I did
Are you driving dude?
