I have celiacs disease. You can see if you do just by getting a blood test. And it could have definitely still been in your system. When I accidentally eat gluten it can stay in my system for a week or more. If you do have celiacs or gluten intolerance it can lead to a lot more worse health problems so it is definitely worth being tested for it. Just ask your doctor to do a blood test and they can tell you. It’s also 100% worth eating gluten free and not cheating. It’s hard at first but you get used to it and your mind gets used to blocking out non-gluten free options. Also I just found out chick fil a has a gluten free bun and I’m excited to try it with the grilled chicken. Also, advice for shopping for groceries if you do eat gluten free- don’t look strictly in the gluten-free section it will be overly priced and doesn’t have much variety- you can usually find stuff in the regular section of stores. Aldis is a good place to shop for it and Kroger’s has a sticker on the price tags on the shelf that tell you if stuff are gluten free. You can look up stuff to watch for in things that don’t say gluten-free to see if they have any “ouchy -ingredients” . You have to look in drinks and stuff too. And cheese and certain meats. Sorry for rambling 😂
