    I found out it’s easier just to take all of those metal brackets out and you can get your fingers in there and route it easier. Good video bro thank you.

    I use to mechanic for a company that ran Volvos. I hated those cables. They broke at the worst time. I ended up putting them on a PM replacement schedule. It was like every 18 months or something like that (10years ago). They were easier to replace when you could put the wheel in a good position to start with. Volvos required you to think different when working on them.

    • @barbmiracle

      Never mind. I sorted that bit. I’m wondering now if it’s not better if the wheel is all the way up. If you’ve any thoughts on the that bit, I’d love to hear them. My wheel is currently in the middle range and I think that blocks the spot you were talking about.

    You need to get yourself a peterbilt 389. They are built better and hold their value way better and when they do break they are easier to work on. FYI. Your hood pull will probably break next. Love the videos though.

    Hello everyone

  • @SIXPACFISH
    @SIXPACFISH 3 года назад

    Stick a loop of wire through the little hole, stick the cable through the loop, pull the loop while pushing the cable. You should get the cable through, if you are holding hour mouth right. Making scary faces and using bad language often helps encourage a stubborn part to fit.

  • @BobSmith-ui4qu
    @BobSmith-ui4qu 3 года назад +1

    You can’t attach a wire and pull through. Doesn’t work that way. A new cable and pedal is 40$ usd or 52$ cdn with HST. It is a pain to do, on your back working above your head around the pedals. There is a series of cutch discs , like a bunch of coins pressed together-they don’t move. Total pain to do!
