- Today I play Block Tales (Demo 1) on ROBLOX! It's a little different than my normal videos! It's a turn-based RPG retro/classic game, with a story based off of old ROBLOX, with classic animations, noises and nostalgic references.
This should've been in the The Classic ROBLOX event, it's so criminal that it isn't...
This game says it's inspired by Paper Mario 64 and Earthbound.

What is Roblox? Roblox is an online virtual playground and workshop, where kids of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. The amount of inspiration from EarthBound is crazy
Another Fun Fact: Mint and Apple flavors are based on the idle animations from the Mario & Luigi rpg games.

Fun fact: in Block Tales did you know that there is a boss that is called “Big Foot” (chapter 2)
You should defend more often, it heavily reduces the damage you take and restores your sp for free

For the people who don’t know “block tales” was inspired by paper Mario such as the cards. You can find abilities from NPCs or around the map, including the timing to increase damage or decrease it. And interacting with your items such as the super ball to attack others for more damage. Exactly like Super Mario RPG!
Ever heard of EarthBound? It’s got a TON of inspiration from that like the menu flavors, music, comedy style (could be argued it’s from Mario), the entire cave section and ant boss fight, and much more!

this game finally getting the attention it deserves makes me happy.

Block tales could have been the entire roblox the classic event and i would be all for it

You can also strike with the sword first.
Tip n.2:
You should prepare and upgrd hp because there will be these 2 op enemies.
SENTIENT STATUE:

does fucking 6 to 8 damage in 1 attack(normal mode btw)
Theres a move that moves realy fast, i mean . REALY.
And theres one that will crush you 2 times , realy easy if you know when
Cruel King (Final boss):
30HP
2SHIELD (i think)
Doesnt do that much damage (like 4) but can freeze you for 2 turns if you can't dodge.
Can call support and heal itself
Edit: Sentient statue crush does 12 (thanks random guy lol)
the crush damage does 12 damage (6x2)

I beat allat with 15 hp thanks to me BALLIN on that sp, i got sp drain dynamite and blasted dodge on (most) attacks, i cannot for the life of me do floor 19 though
I dont find cruel king hard i can just use apple pie then i win

This really is an amazing game, but the main storyline itself isn't that long (beat it in 1 hour)
Tho you can get more badges, try the in-game challanges and even play with friends!

This game solos The hunt and the classic event
If your looking for more games to play that are high Gaulish I’d reccomend parkour reborn it is a really good parkour game with pretty addictive movement however it is 200 robux access unless you play one of the reuploads tho I wouldn’t because if your caught in them you can get banned in the main game
I’d LOVE to see a part 2 and if you didn’t know you are about exactly half way through the game so I’m sure one more video could finish up the story nicely
This game was inspired by paper Mario the thousand year door prove me wrong
Why I think it was inspired: the blocking and fighting system are the exactly the same
Enemies has traits
Some has spiky traits so ball wont work
You cant use Sword againts Flying enemies
A shield trait means enemies have a damage resistence
It took me four hours to finish and it was the best four hours of my life

There's sercet hidden though out the games(i love those types of games) Also go behied the Frozen waterfall cuz secret area also buy stuff its good

Fun fact the dizzy dial item shares its name with paper marios dizzy dial.
Go to the right of the fountain in road town to find a secret, also there is one in the ant cave and is near the supreme ant boss fight area but i won't reveal is EXACT location,

8:46 i love how the knocked guy probably got to use his fists against these tiny nooblets and blue said "do you think he is knocked THIS TIME" meaning he got up multipul times before giving up. Then we beat the two nooblets without getting knocked once by hitting them with a plastic bouncy ball.

Sword fight on the Heights swords, it means that theres gonna be many Demos based on collecting the SFOTH swords like the wooden sword, classic sword, stuff like that
Naw wooden sword is not even there, and classic is excluded from the storyline, so its gonna be icedagger(already in game), venomshank, firebrand, ghostwalker, windforce, darkheart and illumina (in release order i think)

•Honestly I'd literally be going around the map if they add a Card that acts like a Speed Coil.
•Honestly though, imagine that in the next Demo *(Venomshank because it has a Green Coloring with Bubbles)* they add a Rocket *(Not as in the Rocket Boots or smth that the Owner had)* but the Rocket Launcher from *Doomspire Brickbattles.* But imagine in the future demos, they add the Silver Ninja Shuriken as an Alternative to Superball. A paintballer enemy, a trowel one which gives Enemies Charge DEF but its not a One-Time use thing. A wrench one which summons All-Seeing Sentry temporarily like many old roblox items. Yeah.

Imagine they add a card that acts like a speed coil.
•Enemies that have old roblox gears like the Paintball gun, Wrench, Hammer. Imagine they add an Alternative for *Superball,* the *Silver Ninja Shuriken* thing...- I forgot most of it. A trowel one that gives *DEF* to enemies for 2Turns to keep it balanced. One that could summon an old Sentry Turret Gear like the one from *Combat Initiation:All Seeing Sentry.* Yeah. Just yeah.
@@Iamaboy3166don’t even know what y’a on about but yes and no they could add those items but their mainly focusing on the SFOTH sword not just classic Roblox. Classic Roblox is just the theme
@@i_existrandomlySFOTH swords (7 in total) are the main plot progression items (think of the 7 crystal stars in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door)
So many other items from classic roblox will show up, just outside of the main plot

You can dash much faster if you dash and jump after that my explore much faster😉.Also it take me 2hour to finish the demo because....well .. explore the world
tips:at blackrock castle you can buy a op item called storm tea it's basically the bomb
but also gives sp
you can also buy storm tea in iron cafe, i think its also cheaper then blackrock

What the classic event shouldve been:
This is basically adventure story but better and more story
Adventure story had a story, and a pretty good one for that
However, it was discontinued before it could get to that point (vetex is working on Arcane Odyssey now, a master class of a game)

Fun fact: if you go to the library then go left you’ll see some boards break them and then fight the rats that attack you then boom you can now use your sword on flying enemies you have to pick up the card
This kinda reminds me of punch club 1 it literally looks so similar and cool for a game that is suppose to look retro this thing is better than some of the classic event games
