Dean always had a natural body movement when he sang.. almost fluid.. I am enjoying Deana Martin every Friday on her podcast.

Petula stated that Dean never comes to rehearsal which caused a lot of tension and stress on the day of taping each show. He had it written into his contract that he does not have to show up to rehearse even with the guests. Which is why according to Petula there were idiot cue cards posted all over the set telling Dean where to move, what lyrics to sing and where to stand etc. etc.

Dean didnt need to rehearse. He liked flowing in the moment and the freedom to be himself which was his charm and talent and his natural appeal. He didnt need rules and regulations. @@jackjules7552
