My sister, I love what you are doing, and I can relate to you too. I lost my dad at the age of six, he had stroke but would have survived, he was kept in the house for three because the church we were attending at the time wouldn't allow members to go to hospital. My dad died on the third day and my family went through hell on earth. We were all born in London before we moved back to Nigeria, we are kids taken to school in our dad's car before he died. But afterwards, my mum began to struggle, we started hawking on the street of ibadan, this was in the 80s when Nigerian economy wasn't that bad. It got to a point where there was nothing to sell, we would go weeks without food. Kids would laugh at me on my way to school because I was so skinny. The church members didn't notice us. In fact, most of our stuff were bought by the church members, our house became a bazaar. I have learnt my lessons about Christianity and religion in general. There is a God up there, but He is not religious. No wonder Jesus wouldn't go into the synagogue of those days, and he called the ministers in the synagogue vipers and children of Satan. What happened in Jesus's time is what we are experiencing right now in the church. God bless you sis.
Hmmmm...I went through similar experience, after my husband went to rest, everyone deserted, I went to see the bishop of my church to help me fix my daughter back to school, because my daughter was kicked out of the church University, told him am a widow, and I already foolishly sowed almost all the entitlement given to me to church..but to my amazement, he said he can't change church policy because of my daughter. I went back home disappointed😭 I was, at a point wanted to commit suicide.... it's a long story🥺 but I thank the unfailing God, who send helpers...all my kids are University graduates today, doing well. Thank you momma for creating this awareness for those who will listen 🤷
You know all these brainwashed teachings that you should show all you have and you will reap plenty.... turning God to MMM, and stupidly I did too.... hmmmm it was a painful experience, but I thank God 🙏🙌 He's so merciful, kind and gracious, Psalms 103 says God didn't do to me according to my foolishness, if not, my children would have been drop outs of school. I have never seen why a widow should be mocked and deserted, even unbelievers won't do that, but it happened among believers oh🤷

i am a pastor and a pastor's wife. Lost my husband at age 44, He was 49years plus, left with 3 young children to cater for. This was 11 years ago, i can relate with your pain, we also served in a mega church, very few will understand where you are coming from. I pray that the Lord will heal your wounds and perfect all that concerns you. God has given you beauty for ashes. He is forever faithful

My sister, I love ur analysis. Bob Marley once sang ‘who feels it, knows it Lord.’ I can only imagine what u passed through. I used to be a worker in RCCG while in Naija, but now Baptist & honestly I love my Church. I might not be going every Sunday but God knows best. Please look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of ur faith.’ That’s all!
Ma , I pray Almighty God heal your wounds completely, all the good things that your husband was unable to do your children will do more, i just come across your channel and i felt touched. There are some blames from the church but that your assistance pastor didn’t perform up expectations , if Rccg didn’t do the right things we thanked God that God sent Baptist Pst to be there for you it’s well with you and your children, remains blessed
Aunty Adunni, I feel your pain and I relate with your condition. God has helped you so far and has given you strength together with your children. From all you have said so far, I can say categorically that your husband was a gallant soldier. Please do NOT throw away the baby together with the bath water. Kindly not let the Church leaders' behaviour make you change your mind about God. You could change your place of worship and follow the bible for yourself
My sister, I've listened to your testimony. All glory to God for your life and your children. People have been brainwashed and you'll still see people abusing you. Let them run their mouth.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for not cursing her back. I believe God made you delete /block the nonsense comment! Your COURAGE is great & highly COMMENDABLE 👍🏾 Keep serving God the best way you understand & pleasing to Him. Your PERSONAL relationship with God is all that matters.
Aunty Adunmi, you've been of tremendous encouragement to me. I'm very young in marriage & your narratives (ranging from conception, business etc) have been directly helpful to me. Merci Beaucoup, My Beloved Aunty Adunmi!!!
I’m glad sis. Pls apply wisdom as you are under them. They have more than enough to run the ministry but greed will not let them stop asking. They are Oliver Twist o 😂
Aunty Adunni, I just subscribed. I’m so sorry about your bad experiences with so called’religion’. I stopped going to church many years ago. I say my prayers daily and read the Bible for myself that’s all I’ll say. Lots of PRETENDERS do not miss a church service, rain, snow, they are there in their FAKE smile selves. My dear, do you.
You are a voice of hope to so many people. Keep up the good work. I myself had bad experience in the Uk in a church I served as a choir leader. My dad was deleted In Nigeria. My pastors didn’t help me, even as a young student at 19. I had to pause uni to support my family. That was the last time I went to church 13 years ago. My eyes opened to this harsh reality.
It’s a failure in the so called churches no wonder some people call them shrines. They are definitely NOT building disciples for Christ rather they are mostly mammon spirit
Madam that was the words they cloud muster at that time. For me no words can make up for your loss. The bible says we should not mourn like those who have no hope. Since Jesus died and rose again we have hope. Am so glad to see you dust up and build your self to these level. God bless you.
Thanks for sharing big sis...wow you're alive to testify the goodness of God in the land of the living , you're a courageous woman with wisdom, strength and all boldness to face reality, I love ❤️ you sis
Bumped into your video for the first time today aunty Adunni. You speak truth. May the congregation understand the real meaning of relationship with God.
all I want to say is that we all have minds of our own, your decision to sow is your decision, if i want to sow i sow i am doing it for any body to acknowledge or to find help at that church in the future. i feel we are nobody's responsibility. I we owe nobody anything. Do what you can for yourself and others and leave the rest.
I have said it in my church, the only people that stood with me in my time of grief were my colleagues.Like you said the church, friends and family deserted us.But I thank God it is all over.

I wish I had time to share my personal experience as a worker with Redeemed. I hope my Nigerians eyes are open to ...reality of life with churches. Please, brethren look up to God with all your heart and not human. God is Good..
I thank God for your life, but the only thing I will tell you is do not stop prayer, God will continue to bless you and uphold you in Jesus Mighty Name Amen. Satan no dey rest o my sweet Sister. Prayer is the master key
Dearest sister I enjoyed your candid exposition about dysfunction and manipulation in church. I lost my husband at the age of 35 and as a widow and single mother of two, I too suffered with church stuff paying so much for tithe and seed etc. Looking back I know the money stuff in church is more of manipulation than anything. Giving of tithe does not make God love us more because He loves us unconditionally. His grace is sufficient and He is inside of us guiding and directing us as we are open to His voice. Making you to pay money that you did not borrow is the height of wickedness

Hmmm, Aunty mi Adunni, I shed tears yesterday as you narrated your truth that I couldn't bring myself to type any comments, unlike me. You are a strong woman.. it pains me that people could be so callous as to send you wicked comments. Pls stay strong my beautiful Aunty. God has already given you and your children victory, no amount of wicked comments can bring you down ma. I salute you. God bless you.
Aunty Adunni, I'm wondering if you can start interviewing people that have been through church abuse or disappointment. I think this may be a good talk show. Just thinking loud🤔
You'll just be equipping unbelievers to further bastardize the name of Jesus. There's reward in that also from the Lord..... When we choose to spread our dirty linen in the public glare. So let's be guided. Most of these churches have made it abundantly clear already that giving back or charity work is not really their calling. Leke Adeboye made it sooooo clear. So why do you want to go that route. Let every man and woman know his or her God. God is real and prayer is the way to reach Him. Moreover prayer is more than mere wishes. So let's be clear on some of these ideology madam Adunni is spreading. We obviously need the wake up call. But nullifying the existence of God by cancelling prayer altogether is not the way to liberate people. The true seekers of God will find Him and He'll find them too. While seekers of miracles will also be rewarded. After all Jesus Himself said narrow is way that lead to eternal life and only few are on that road but wide is the road that leads to destruction and multitudes are there. So let everyone choose.
@@lolaadedokun8104 May God give us wisdom, regardless of our experiences, Jesus is our standard. Sharing bad experiences in so-called churches are to expose the unfruitful works of darkness with the intention to prevent others from falling into falsehood under the disguise of Christianity. (See Ephesians 5:11-14). The truth is that we each will give an account to God. So even if certain Christians fall, we have no excuse to reject Christianity. We should use those experiences to sit up and understand that we're in a spiritual warfare and we're to watch and pray so the enemy doesn't take over our final destination. By the way, there are still good Christians and good churches, but they are VERY RARE. Thanks.
Aunty Dunni, I sympathize with you, I could see the pain even when you tried to brave it as much as you tried, God is your strength. There's something you said which is the same thing I have done for close to one year now. I only thank God every morning when I wake up and go for my daily business, I thought I'm the only one but hearing that from you made me feel I'm not alone.
@@realtalkAuntyAdunnieven when I was still enslaved in the system, I still questioned why I have to scream before God will answer my prayers because I believe I'm a child of God and I see my relationship with Him as that of I and my children, they don't have to shout before I provide for them, they don't even need to say anything, I owe them that responsibility but if for any reason they have to ask anything, they don't shout or keep talking for hours before I can hear them and I ask myself, if I as a creature of God can relate this way with my kids, how much more God who is the embodiment of Goodness, so I decided that I'll relate with God the way my kids relates with me. Listening to you and a couple of others who are also spreading the truth consolidates that idea the more, even the bible tells us that God is everywhere and even knows the thoughts and the intentions of our heart so why do I have to scream for Him to hear me or answer me. Your story has inspired and encouraged some people to come out and tell their own stories too and more will still come out. More importantly, some who are not yet victims are learning from the stories to so they don't become victims but unfortunately, there are still many who seem to have been hypnotized but I wish their eyes will open to these truths. Well done dear. It is well.

I left the charismatic Church when the pastor started preaching about willing your properties to the church. Can you imagine that? All their children are schooling abroad. Mine is schooling in Africa. Hmmmmm. I am.back to my Presbyterian. When my mum.passed the whole women fellowship of the Presbyterian Church were at the church before I arrived with the body. The support was massive. When I was in the charismatic church, my dad passed and there was not any support, financially I gave so so much to them, yet in my moment of need, they neglected me. The orthodox churches will have their members back little by little.
My sister I agree with you. That was how my son died suddenly in the university and ppl who have not lost any family member or their children were telling me I should stop crying, God can call him home so that he will not do things that would make him not to go to heaven. Imagine!!
We are encouraged to be like the Berea Christians who after fellowship return home and read their Bible to affirm what they hear in church. It is our basic responsibility as Christians. GOD HELP US ALL.THE JETS AND AFFLUENCE IN CHURCH TODAY IN THE MIDST OF POVERTY.Paul never left his tent making buisness.
Hello Aunty Mi, Adunni I hardly comment on posts, but I had to for this one. I understand, to an extent, how disappointing it must have been for you because my immediate younger brother, Seyi, passed away in 2013 at 25years. He lived his life for RCCG as a worker there for almost 8 years till he died. We barely used to see him at home because of church engagements. His church worker people 'disappeared' after his burial. Not that they even came a lot in the period between his passing and his funeral. I was so, so disappointed and I'm sure my mum too was, but we didn't say anything. Mum has also now gone to be with the Lord (2017). I just put my hope and trust in God, the friend that sticks closer than a brother, the one that never leaves us nor forsakes us. And what you said is true: oku olomo kii n sun. May God continue to strengthen you and your children. It is well with you all.
My sister God will continue to strengthen you. Amen. Let me introduce you to this Black American pastor, Pastor GIno Jennings. May God continue to encourage you.
Dear Auntie. Thank you for sharing Ma. We are learning. Like I said I was and am still deeply touched. God alone understands it all. Jesus loves you and your children. Please reconnect with Jesus the Christ. Jesus is the way, the truth and life. He died to save us from our sins. His shed blood will not be in vain on you and your children in Jesus name. Man disappoints but Jesus is not a disappointment. Bible is the very powerful word of God. I am talking from experience. God bless you with His peace, joy and love in Jesus name. God will continue to prosper you and your children and make way for them in life. (It is okay if you block me if you are offended with my comment, hope you do not get offended because that is not my purpose). But please know that Jesus is real and He is love. Bible teaches us to love and be empathetic especially with those going through trials of life. Bible promotes caring for the poor and needy. On behalf of those who hurt you I apologise Ma. I pray you forgive them. I pray those listening to you will not lose faith in Christ Jesus. I shout loud that Jesus is real, He is God, He is love and He does not fail. I have experienced Him and if not for Jesus Christ, my life will not be as good as it is. I am talking about Jesus Christ Savior and LORD, not a church. God bless. Please receive my hug. I am praying for you. And I love you with love of Jesus. Peace. I wish to meet you personally. It will happen if God wills. Love.
You are right! I keep saying this truth, that, Religion kills! Religion is a scam! Christianity is not a Religion! Christianity is a one on one relationship with God! Father to His children, good shepherd relationship! Once we understand this, then we will be free from charlatans who put innocent people in bondage and busy building empire for themselves and their families!
@@ayo-ajayiroseline5580 Once you have encounter with Jesus the Christ you will know the difference. May she have genuine divine encounter with Jesus the Savior in Jesus name. May God deliver all who are in bondage to religion in Jesus name. Jesus the Saviour, Jesus the Healer, Jesus the Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, Jesus the soon coming King! I know Him since 1986 and my life was undone. I was in bondage till then but He set me free. My life was a mess. I was transformed by the power of His Spirit. No one can tell me He is not real or sell Him to me. He is love. He is peace. He is joy. He is everything a man need to enjoy life and make heaven. True enjoyment is in Jesus. Seek His kingdom and His righteousness and everything else will be added. I have seen and experienced Jesus. He is worth living and dying for. I will serve Him till my final breath in Jesus name. Romans 8:38-39.God bless you my Sister. Thank you Ma.
Prayers are powerful and they work tremendously. James 5:16 (KJV) … The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. I won’t say much much because I am young but I have my own story. My grief is not more than yours and I sympathize with you. I will just say that if someone has substituted God for a man, it is called idolatry. Prayer from such a person is like noise in the ears of the Lord. We can’t expect a miracle if we are walking in disobedience but that is the thing, many Nigerian pastors hate to teach holiness because it would mean they would have to change. I hope you find the strength to pray. God has so much more He wants to reveal and do in your life Prophetess.
Aunty Adunni...hmm you have gone through a lot and seen much, you are strong willed and with your determination, God is still your strength. Just continue to follow your dreams and be grateful. That's life. You will enjoy the fruits of your labor till the end. God will protect you and the children.
God bless you sis. My Aunty attends St Anne’s Anglican Church in Ibadan but once in a while visits her local Rccg for vigils, prayers etc! The Rccg pastor died in an accident in public transport visiting kaduna on a church programme and The Rccg was Small and not financially buoyant and members could barely afford to arrange mortuary and bring the body back to Ibadan for burial. It was residents near the church ( who weren’t even members ) that were helping out financially! …It’s a shame you were told to find another parish ( I know pastor Eskor,s widow still attends city of David where pastor iluyomade pastors) , but All these big churches are cults only enriching their GO,s pockets.
I stumbled on one of your videos talking about this pastors and how they manipulate people especially in Africa, you have said the truth about this people. The day you aspect christ, you are finish.
It's unfortunate people are commenting like people who don't have feelings but that's human for you. If possible, please ignore them and move on. Thank God for the Baptist people that he brought your way to keep you strong.
The comment you read is typical 9ja mindsets and our orientation, the comments is full of flaws however, it showed you empathy but it was important for you to addressed the flaws in the comment. I just subscribed to your channel and thanks for sharing your stories for all to learn. God blessed you and the family🙏🏿
Infact sister, I feel your pain . This is so sad. Many spiritual men and women are not serving God again, but idol .Hmmmmm it is well . May God help us all.
More grace to you Aunty Adunni. Pls can you get in touch with me personally? I want to learn from your business wisdom since we are in the same shoe. Shallom!
SisterTemi, you're just very funny, the way you relate your story. With your Yorba and pidgin English. Well I reserve my comments on your opinions about Christianity. Sure Gods people haven't represented Christ well, sure.
This is soo sad. I am so sorry ma. You are entitled to air your story. This is your story and NO one can tell your story better than you. I thank God for you and your children.
I am really sorry for your experience ma. Honestly, there is so many things we are doing in the Nigeria Church that Jesus is not happy wit. They are not even in the scripture. This is why I believe everyone must read the scriptures for themselves. God is not against the use of medication. God has 4 ways of taking care of our health . Divine health (When you dont fall sick), Healing (When God heals), Medication (we saw this with Hezekiah) and death. May the Lord comfort you and your children. I believe God will comfort you and your children in Jesus name. Please note that God still has 7,000 prophets. God bless you ma. Let's know how we can support you. May the Lord heal you.
Assets come with liabilities/Sentiment apart! To run a home and keep a family needs the Grace of God but we widows must talk with facts and figures..... Whatever your denomination
As a widow, I understand the feeling you re referring to. Vulnerable and totally exposed because your husband is your spiritual covering and with his death, there is no covering.
God is her coverage. The Bible says that God is the husband of the widow. She has coverage from God. Man can not give coverage. The Bible says except the Lord build the house, the laborer labor in vain. Except the Lord watch over the city, the watch man stay awake in vain. So you see, man doesn't give coverage, it's only God that gives coverage.
The church was supposed to be the covering after the death of her husband but they failed to provide covering. They behaved worse than unbelievers. Spiritual covering will not drop from the sky but succour is supposed to come from church fellowship. The behaviour of the local church and the ministry as a whole is very strange and unscriptural. Only they themselves know why they behaved worst than unbelievers.
@@imepeter5585 Of course God is her covering even for everyone of us. But her local church has a role to play in such situations but it is quite strange they failed in that regard. I don't know what explanations they would have for this kind of failure.
When my husband died, the bank wrote me a letter to come and start paying his loan that they advised him to take. I was advised to change my address so that the money can enter bad debts after few years. I couldn't pay the dept, I was not even a signatory to that account and I dont know why they shld come after me. I suffered.
All these happened to me, the shame the disrespect from members. Some started calling me by name. I was forced to change my church and I became lost and frustrated because I cldnt blend. I hate going to church now. Most of them are hypocrites and pretenders.
Madam, God bless your intuition. I want to let you know it's not really about the church of God. We are the church. The problem I see here is the people who are called church (we). Many christians are worshipping their pastors rather than their maker God. When a Christian is gullible he/she would fall for any religious doctrine. They become slaves to their own soul, the human will is overridden and controlled by their spiritual heads and leaders. God has given us all a will, there is God's will which is spiritual which is revealed to you by confirmation in your spirit. This will agree with your spiritual being. You have a will, desire and aspirations which you also work and pray to achieve. When you listen to a pastor's message,' motivational speech or sweet talk' you should use you brain to sieve it.
My sister, I love what you are doing, and I can relate to you too. There is a God up there, but He is not religious. No wonder Jesus wouldn't go into the synagogue of those days, and he called the ministers in the synagogue vipers and children of Satan. What happened in Jesus's time is what we are experiencing right now in the church. God bless you sis.

i am a pastor and a pastor's wife.

I used to be a worker in RCCG while in Naija, but now Baptist & honestly I love my Church. I might not be going every Sunday but God knows best. This Pastor Eskon must have lived a charitable life. People say good things about him. RIP sir!

You are doing great videos, try and pray often and please don't neglect prayer. Prayer is the key that opens doors.

I thank God i bumped into this video. I am not a RCCG member, but i can relate with all the truth you are relaying. Church na huge scam.

Aunty Adunni, I'm wondering if you can start interviewing people that have been through church abuse or disappointment. I think this may be a good talk show. Just thinking loud🤔
My parents were victims especially my dad, i will be very glad to share my experience.
Thanks.
Prayer works ma'am
Aunty Dunni, I sympathize with you, I could see the pain even when you tried to brave it as much as you tried, God is your strength. There's something you said which is the same thing I have done for close to one year now. I only thank God every morning when I wake up and go for my daily business, I thought I'm the only one but hearing that from you made me feel I'm not alone.
Many people who are liberated do this as it’s obvious we don’t need to scream before our prayers are answered

Imagine!!
The Lord is your strength.
Death is not in any ones hand to take decision it's God who takes this decision. Life is in his hand. Shalom

Hello Aunty Mi, Adunni
I hardly comment on posts, but I had to for this one.

Dear Auntie. Thank you for sharing Ma. We are learning. Like I said I was and am still deeply touched. God alone understands it all.

Time heals all wounds....
Prayers are powerful and they work tremendously.
James 5:16 (KJV)
… The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
OMG 😲 Simply OMG 😲 Nigeria churches needs to be skilled in psychological support and emotional and social support...not only spiritual

I have a similar experience in church. God help us

Very very true strongly agree with you
Sister Adunni..permit me to share your experience in my book
It's not their fault, they've been captured and blinded by these so called religion.
Assets come with liabilities/Sentiment apart! To run a home and keep a family needs the Grace of God but we widows must talk with facts and figures..... Whatever your denomination
Madam God use you to open people eye and to educate those who are still in bondage of one man church
@@imepeter5585 we are talking of physical covering. You can’t understand pls. Stop bringing Bible into everything.
@@realtalkAuntyAdunni I was talking about spiritual coverage. I am widow too with 4 children. I know what you about.
I thank God for your life ❤
Madam, God bless your intuition.
God bless you…so much zeal without knowledge.
Your story is shocking! May the Lord continue to uphold you.
