Sri Lanka was put to bat first in the second T20I. The quickfire knocks from the openers, followed by a half-century from Sadeera Samarawickrama and the perfect finish to the innings by Angelo Mathews helped Sri Lanka reach 187 runs in the end. Afghanistan once again crumbled against the Sri Lankan bowlers as none of the batters could put up a proper fight. In the end, Afghanistan became all out for just 115 runs in 17 overs and Sri Lanka won the match by 72 runs.

Mathews still a great player, he’s a cheat code now with all that experience, it’s a shame his injuries have derailed a bit of his career!
Mathews stayed away from Limited overs for a while until this recent worldcup. He was playing only test matches.

Hey bros, don't depend on one player, even if Rashid played he can bowl only 4 overs what can he do with 4 overs. We have seen so many very , very good better players than Rashid playing for Srilank and now they are gone but still we are producing very talanted batters and bowlers to face any attack from any team. that is how we should play withou whinging for what we don't have. We have also lost the service of our fast bowler Great Duhmantha Chameera due to injury and also Very talanted batters such as Avishka Goonawardana, experienced Dinesh Chandimal and many spiners like Akila Dananjaya , Dunith Wellalage due to no vacanci in the team to fill with them. That is how the cricket is going forward. So my advice is not to depend on one player there are 11 players playing for a team so best thing is to request them to play to their talent and give 100% and follow the basic to play compettive cricket. also keep it in your mind no team can win everyday, every team, every player has ups and downs. when they are in good form they can win. whish Afgans will come good very soon. Wish you all the best.
