Illest of our time had lots of animals in, the man on the clothing rack is the one they kidnapped in Murderer, there are lots of connections throughout all his music. Keep reacting, great job guys, this one has links to Animal Farm by George Orwell, the writing on the wall at the start.
Great reaction guys... Bri melts the soul when she gives that cheeky look straight to camera. Adorable. I sense a genuine Ren fan in her. Keep up the good work
"Ren's Universe"... Like the Marvel Universe. That's fabulous 😂 Spot on! And yes, like others said... You need to check out his acoustic version of this too 🔥🔥🔥
It's the only way I could figure to explain it 😂🤣 and everyone knows Marvel movies all connect... It's definitely not a wonder why I absolutely love Ren ❤❤ just pure creativity and wonderfulness
He’s referencing the book Animal Farm by George Orwell. Read it in American Literature. It’s about a deranged farmer who abused the animals on his farm and they took over. If you read the wall in the beginning of the video, it explains a lot. There is so many references in this. REN is wise beyond his years. Love your reactions.

Okay. The one video you where thinking about where Ren is in the elevator with all the animals, was "Illest of our Time". And this song "Animal Flow" references the book from George Oswell, called "Animal Farm". It is basiclly a satire of communism. Very interesting book, I think there is even a movie adaptation of "Animal Farm" In the very beginning of the video you should read all the things on the walls. 4 legs good, 2 Legs bad and so on. That is "Animal Farm" One little fun fact. The staff, Ren is using in this video. I have the same one with a snake head. Yeah :D Good reaction

Not 1 other person has mentioned it so for that reason you have a new sub😂 You are quite high on my list of decent reactors so keep it up guys. Big love from across the pond❤
It always amazes me seeing them this doing as a one take with so many moving parts. Especially walking backwards and on stairs. Wild talent. Awesome reaction!
The way he walks down the stairs reminds me of the roger rabbit (dance move for old folks). It’s the way his chest comes out as he goes down each step. It’s doubly impressive knowing he’s ill and in pain.

Love your perceptions, especially what you thought at the end. A lot of people will mention the Animal Farm influence on the video, which is there, and I think it goes a little deeper than that toward what you were saying and George Orwell's work overall, which was highly political. Orwell was warning people to be wary of their leaders - even (or especially) when the rebel overthrows a corrupt regime. It’s easy to overlook how power can corrupt those who start with good intentions. The Cannibal King starts the song off by proudly claiming who he is. He tells us he's a murderous tyrant, but we ignore it. My favorite part is when the (German) Shepherd leads the leashed lamb passively down the stairs - perhaps to slaughter - while singing about eating your flesh (yum-yum-yum-yum). It's just like the overall faith we have in our politicians (shepherds) to lead us to care and safety when they might not have our best interests at heart. More importantly is the leader above them and to heed the Orwellian warning of listening to their words and intentions - especially the leader who takes the place of an illegitimate ruler. New and different isn't always better. Many US citizens were excited about the promise of a new leader unlike the politicians who came before him, despite his words that indicated he might put himself first (not the people). Orwell wouldn't have been surprised to see this person's popularity despite his words, actions, and 91 felony indictments. It's very hard to let go of one's hope, especially when the alternative doesn't look all that great. So, be wary when the Cannibal King wages war on the capital. Listen when he says, "Show no mercy under my rule / I won't be kind, I will be cruel / Drown all my foes in a paddling pool / Yes, I'm tyrannical bro, so." Yeah, Ren mentions bits from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in several of his songs. Great catch on the opening sounds' similarity to the Oompa Loompa song. There are also hints of A Clockwork Orange (and you'll see references to Kubrick's work throughout Ren's discography - Dr. Strangelove, A Clockwork Orange, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining, Eyes Wide Shut, etc.) P.S. The current U.S. is not unique with this issue; it's been a problem throughout world history - see images in the Money Game part 2 video.
There are so many cool things in this video. The commandments from Animal Farm are written on the wall at the beginning. Joe, the guy tied up, is the one they kidnap at the end of Murderer and the dogs playing poker at the beginning is based off the famous painting. Fantastic video for being a one-take! Really enjoying your reactions ❤
