Pro tip: Do your first oil change at about 500 miles. This is because of the engine breaking in and producing the most metal particles, which cause wear on engine. After that every 5000 miles

@@TheHenrymontemayor Yes it is recommended to change the oil 500 to 1000 miles on brand new cars. This is the BREAK IN period , and causes the most wear to the engine. This gets contaminants out before they start scratching internal parts, from the small metal fragments.
Then do another at 3000 miles and after that 5000 miles for the rest of cars life.

My thoughts were aligned with outlet's. When I saw it was Nissan, I said "Oh man, why didn't he ask his followers for feedback." Maybe you saved money, but will you save later on if you end up with repairs. One thing most people don't realize is that Nissan is no longer a Japanese automaker - they've been owned by the French for over two decades now. It's a lesson in car-buying, so I'd be happy with what you got for now but keep that in mind.

Pro tip for ANYONE with a Nissan cvt. CVT’s thrive on slow, consistant acceleration. If you’re always racing around and off and on full throttle often you will greatly reduce your cvt reliability. Be as smooth as you can when you accelerate. Try to keep rpm around 2-3k most of the time when accelerating. 👍 you will get great gas mileage. Nissan engines are very reliable. Change cvt fluid before recommended variables to be safe.

Grats on the new car. I remember buying my 2019 Toyota Yaris about 2 years ago this next January, with 15k miles on it. Now I have 116k miles on it, and not a problem. Gets almost 40MPG highway, 35 city. Finally need the serpentine belt replaced, getting it done Thursday. Anyways paid 17k for the car, put 3k down, and pay $264 per month.. It is perfect...because I can also do rideshare in it as well as food. I like your Nissan, and I am sure it gets fantastic mileage as well. I will never ever buy a Ford Focus again. Transmission went out and even AMCO could not fix it. Took it to ford, and after 2 weeks of dicking around, they tell me I need a new transmission and it will cost $7000.
