Really interesting slice of journalism. Good amount of time. Very interesting. Good enunciation.
This attraction looks incredibly dangerous, claustrophobic, and made for robots. Use trains, America...

trains cost billions, this "attraction" is literally better than trains.

This needs to be automated. Do they have plans and/or a timeline for that?

Agree! I'm not sure what the status of Tesla's self driving situation is... but I bet other here can tell us.

Such a less efficient and more dangerous use for public transit than a proper train. It included a ton a corporate welfare and tries to undermine genuinely public transit.

Actually the Loop is more efficient, faster, less dangerous and VASTLY cheaper than a train.
The Loop boasts less than 10 second wait times compared to many minutes for a train. It has an average speed of 25mph (60mph in the larger 68 mile Loop) making it faster than the 17mph average of the NYC Subway or the 20mph of the London Underground.
It carries 32,000 people per day which is double the 17,431 average of light rail lines globally.
And with BYD LFP blade batteries, these Teslas won’t catch fire even if the battery packs are punctured.
And at only $48.7m construction cost, it is VASTLY cheaper than the $202m per mile cost of *above-ground* light rail or the $600m - $1 billion per mile cost of subways.

It's probably for ai driving and crap in a future setting

fake news. it's literally more cost efficient and energy efficient to use these tesla tunnels. i have plenty of evidence to prove this.

Canada needs these badly, VIA rail is horribly slow!
