I am now a father x3 And grew up in a bad situation haatebreed, throwdown, hoods, got me through it in a positive way helped me deal with being that beaten kid and I persevered to being 10x what my parents ever were and I blame hardcore for making me take control and being accepting of the fact I was dealt a bad hand and made it out

Same here. Had alot of problems when I got out of the Marine Corps Infantry and listening to Hatebreed helped pull me through. The Supremacy album fueled my work outs and bodybuilding became my life. Hatebreed and weights saved me.
Look at the punks coming up in the world , Jocko Willink , Andrew Huberman , Michael Malice, Ect . Our tribe is small, and scattered , but they all have will - they all have spirit.
Those were the days my friend headbangers ball when we used to actually get new hard-core heavy-metal songs too bad those days are long behind us know everything’s all political, and everybody’s opinion has made its way into music
Gotta love Hatebreed!! Most inspirational and positive lyrics! Such a brutal sound!! That ending was powerful & gave me chills with that little visual metaphor. Love this band!!
man, I'm a big fan since 2013 but had never seen this video... amazing! probably everyone knew they would be inside the room at the final! THIS IS MORE THAN A BATTLE CRY
I love Hatebreed for what they write, it empowers it's listeners. In a genre of misfits and outcasts (myself included in that description), it's important that a band like Hatebreed exists.
My favorite video from Hatebreed... seriously love this. GIVE ME YOUR BROKEN!! GIVE ME YOUR BEATEN!! I WILL BUILD THEM UP!! I WILL LEAD THEM!! TO THE THRESHOLD!! ... THIS IS MORE THAN A BATTLE CRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I left my father unconscious on the floor, I knew Jasta had given me the strength to put a stop to his bullshit. All praise the Watcher of the Wounded
Man. Every time i play as song by these guys I just get the power to face the bullshit that awaits me on a day to day basis. These guys need to be recognized by everybody as some of the greatest musicians off the face of this earth. they put every once of emotion they have into their songs and all of their song kick ass. So to all the guys in Hatebreed, THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH!!!!!!!!!
@@rationalcanadianatheist6119 you ain't joking brother...being part of a Devildriver pit is brutal...I literally had my right knee knocked outta place, during "The Wall Of Death"!!! But,I was still able to finish being in the pit during their whole set...and then next was the HATEBREED pit brother
Give me your broken give me your beaten, I will build them up I will lead them to the Threshold. Make you stronger make you believe, I am one in the same.
I have a huge respect for Hatebreed for what they sing about. There's a truth in their songs and all of them tell about the dark reality...about the real life.
I knew this song for about 13 years when Supremacy got released... I watched the video today for the first time and its weird to watch knowing that i lived through something very similar 15 years ago... caught me off guard i must say
By far one of my favorite music videos of all time. Thank you Hatebreed for being such a huge positive and uplifting inspiration to me, and everyone else. Eventually I'm gonna run out of room to tattoo your lyrics
I have been listening to metal since i was 15 just turned 41 Hatebreed has the strongest most positive lyrics i have ever heard! This kind of music has kept me out of jail for beating a person to death!!!

Hatebreed is my inspiration when it comes to working out. The lyrics and aggressive vocals just pump me the fuck up. This is my main song next to Destroy Everything.
I have got to hand it to Hatebreed for keeping such influential and positive themes of overcoming hardships in their songs. This is one of those bands that is sorely underrated smh. My parents introduced me to their music when I first started bodybuilding / strength training in my freshman year and thanks to them I went from the weakest, skinniest little shit in Planet Fitness to the biggest, strongest dude in Gold's gym. But I will always remember where I came from and respect those who put in the work ;) keep doing your thing Hatebreed
+MrDickedy Some days I want to do that stuff, but other days I just think, we're all going to deteriorate and our muscles will waste away so what's the point?
epiphany55 I feel you, but for me, it was something that was fascinating and challenging, and I'm the type of person who needs a challenge to focus on in order to stay sane with all of the bullshit going on in the world nowadays. But your point is very valid, which is why we mustn't ever allow our egos to make us feel superior to anybody, because in the end, we'll all be soil. Stay humble.
+MrDickedy This is seriously the best sequence of posts I've read in a long time. Great stuff man, keep lifting, keep rocking, and stay humble. \m/ Hatebreed forever.
Late response, I was once in the pit when a guy in a wheelchair crowd-surfed to the stage. Jasta pulled him up and screamed, "THAT'S WHAT I'M FUCKING TALKING ABOUT!!!" Great show, love these guys.
Jamey Jasta the angriest postive motivational speaker!
Chris Etherson 🤣
Angiest?? Wtf is that?
@@andrewczeczot8616 angriest, sorry.
Amen LOL!
The song is the angriest gym commercial ever
hatebreed always cheers me up when the world gets me down
Smrtnik same here. :)
I know that feel
this world tries to crush my spirit, hardcore keeps me intact
Think that's the point. Feel the exact same way
Me too
"Spit in the face of defeat" that one lyric changed my life
I WILL never give up
I WILL always be strong
I WILL be true to myself
I WILL take my life to the threshold and spit in the face of defeat
I will
The message they portray is so positive.that ending got me hype
Ending is nice :)
That's why they are the most positive message in hardcore/metal. Always positive!!
As a father & ol school banger, thank you for being a positive role model to our kids. RESPECT \m/

This is the sound of the lost, the beaten and broken
Rising up and claiming what has been taken from us
From the shadows of the past
From the depths of our own failures
Stepping forward into the light
Denying our demise
Decimating all uncertainty
Bowing to only who can place judgment upon me
Give me your broken
Give me your beaten
I will build them up
I will lead them
To the threshold
Make you stronger
Make you believe
I am one in the same
But now stronger than uncertainty
Within this army
This is more than a battle-cry
It's the blood of our lifeline
Flowing faster
This is the sound of the lost, beaten and broken
Decimating all fears
Stronger than ever
Beyond every dream
Ascension into supremacy
Now we're stronger than ever
Harder than ever
Give me your broken
Give me your beaten
I will build them up
I will lead them
To the threshold
To the threshold
This is more than a battle-cry
We were the broken
We were the beaten
I was once like you
Now I push myself to the threshold
Because I am stronger
Because I believe
Now I spit in the face of defeat
Now I'm stronger than all uncertainty
thanks for the recap, of the song we just heard
Thank you
