The hate she gets is ridiculous. If you dont like her then dont listen to the band anymore...but she had nothing to do with Liv leaving and she is doing the job she was hired to do.
Heard them with Liv and to me Elina is a 100% improvement. Feel they are stronger now!

Es increible que desmeriten aún el trabajo de Liv Kristine....tantos años...le dedicó su vida a la banda y a Alexander? Para qué? Para que en ocasiones la humillen ..no le den crédito de nada...que sea olvidada y ahora criticada por sus supuestos "fans" ....Elina no lo hace mal pero tampoco es digna sucesora y tampoco es la "Mejor"....en fin cada cuál con lo que piense...en mi humilde opinión NADIE reemplazará a Liv ...saludos \,,/

Liv Kristine left the band for her therapist/fiance!!! I like the band now better anyway!!
Liv was basically fired. For some reasons band leaders(the creative heads) of female fronted bands also see the front woman as a kind of muse. It buggers them when the front women is in a relationship. It destroys the phantasy....
Keep in mind, no matter how they perform on stage or sell themselfs, songwriters and creative people in general are emotionally very complex...and easy to hurt...
Liv would have never gotten fired would she have "bonded" with the band leader!
Same with Tarja and Anette of Nightwish ... the moment they came too out of reach for even Tuomas phantasy they got fired...
Luckily elina is a better singer than liv.
Her voice is way more powerfull.
Same with Floor whose voice is better than Annettes and Tarjas.

She Stinks as far as I am concerned when compared to Liv, Elina has shoes that I personally feel she can not fill. Since you can't trust anything anyone says, I will never know why Liv left the band. Hows that?

Exactly, carring, I didnt make it up. I read sort of the same thing right on the bands facebook page. Anyways! in comparsing to Liv's voice and this womans voice, this is what I think! I have 2 tickets to a show in Minneapolis Minn you can have, I wont be attending, that's what i think of this other womans voice.
I have the best music this band will ever produce with Liv, so I am happy. I am sure I will not buy anything further from Leaves Eyes.
