Thank you for this. I am 64 and lost my wife to cancer in July of 22. We had planned to travel when I retired and last winter I said to my self "If not now, when?" So I put a make shift bed and plastic totes in my minivan and hit the road for 11 weeks. I returned and set about building my van for full time travel. I sold most everything and am setting out tomorrow! I've been feeling rather melancholy the past few days but this video has convinced me that I am doing the right thing foe me. Thank you again and I hope to see you down the road. PS. My grandparents had a cottage right off of Torch Lake MI that I spent my summers at.
Thank you so much for sharing this with me 💓 My heart goes out to you, as I'm so sorry for your loss. I am so proud that you took that leap, went on the adventure, and continue to push yourself and live your dream! As for me, it completely changed my life. I got to know who I am without all of the noise, to live simply, and be adaptable to change. And if you are ever feeling lonely on the road as I sometimes do, just remember that you have an entire van life community on your side. I'm cheering you on, and excited for your adventures my friend! Thank you again for your message and wishing you well along your way. Cheers from Lydia!
First time watching your channel and it's amazing.I have a small motorhome and not been too far in it. Watching your journey makes me want to hit the road too. Looking forward to watching more. From the UK
75 year old dude here...my 2015 Dodge Caravan is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned...have my little "home" in the back.. No mortgage, no hoa, no utility bills...I really love it....
How do you only have 367 subscribers atm??? This is my first time seeing one of your videos, but you are such a great storyteller, you clearly inherited awesome artistic talents from your Mom and your do-it-yourself-ness from your Dad, and you have such a bright, infectious energy. Can't wait to get stuck in to more of your videos. New sub here...thanks for sharing your awesome work.
Woah, thank you so so much for your kind words!!This comment made my whole day! I'm so glad you liked the video- more coming soon! I am super grateful to have some amazing artsy DIY parents to show me the ropes. It was quite the build haha Wishing you a wonderful weekend. Lots of love, Lydia

This is so beautiful, my dad and I dreamed of building our vans together so we could travel together but he unfortunately passed away 4 months ago and now I'm here building without him and still honoring him... Count your blessings for having this beautiful experience with your dad
I absolutely love your video! I initially came for the van build, but your storytelling had me completely engrossed in your journey. I send sincere congratulations🎉 👏🎈to your parents, as it seems like they raised a very beautiful, creative, intelligent and wise daughter! And from what you showed they too are very very, cool!🎉 The background glimpses of the houses, the treasures, decro, and the area where they live also made me smile 😁 At 70 years of age, I'm sorta an old hippy at heart❤, tho I missed all that. But have I have always enjoyed the unique-ness, the different and the cool! I also enjoy the way that you added information to the video and music that was more calming than annoying as some use. You definitely have a a new subscriber here❤ And I look forward to so much more. If only I could give you more thumbs up 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍! Best wishes to you and your family! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

Working on the next video as we speak :) Yahoo! Have a wonderful weekend my friend :)
I'm so glad you loved this video! I am a huge waterfall fan, so I had to stop at every waterfall that I could along the tour!! And yes, I couldn't have done this without the help of my parents! So grateful! & Always RIP to George, he was such a lover! Cheers and best wishes to you!

Such beautiful words, and so true. My next big trip is a road trip with my dad, so I'm excited to share the journey. It's about time :) Thank you again, and hope you have a wonderful day! I'll be super safe out there :) Cheers from Lydia
Great video. I have a Class B van that I paid a lot for,so we could do exactly what you did. We did take it on a few trips up and down the East Coast. But we got lazy and used all sorts of excuses to put off continuing to travel for the sake of traveling, such as. " after we attend so-and-so's wedding," maybe after the holidays," etc etc. Thank you for the really great kick in the butt!
Thank you so much for this comment! Congratulations on getting a camper B van :) I will always be a good kick in the butt for anyone who needs a little bit more adventure! That's awesome that you were able to take it out on the East coast! Even though travel is my passion- after I've been home for a little while, I really do have to push myself to take the trip- believe it or not. I get comfortable, and with all that's going in the world we can talk ourselves out of anything. I just know that once I actually hit the road, fully packed, and ready to go... thats when all the worries leave and its pure excitement for whats around the next corner... just have to get there. So I'm wishing you safe travels ahead, and wonderful memories made! You're not alone in that feeling. Cheers and best wishes, Lydia
I think this is the sweetest diy vamping video I've watched. I normally swipe away when I see a video over 25 minutes. I watched yours all the way through. ❤️
Thank you so much for such a sweet comment! I'm so grateful to hear that this video kept your attention, and you enjoyed it! I'm excited to edit some more :) Wishing you all the best! Thank you so much, Lydia

I always go back to the quote, "If not now, when?" Happy travels and cheering you on :) If you ever have any questions send me an email or comment! Cheers from Lydia
Thank you so much for the comment! I get my "can do" outlook from both of my parents.. and of course my many mistakes! haha Cheer and best wishes! -Lydia

Your perseverance is commendable. You are so fortunate to have such a loving father (I never had one) who obviously loves you & wants to be a part of your endeavors. A stranger out here sees the love & dedication. It's very admirable. Safe travels & RIP curious George. 20 years is a long feline life 🐈 hugs to you & your precious dad ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so grateful that the love shines through this video. I count my blessings every day. And George the cat did have such a long and happy life :) Thank you again for the heartfelt message, and sending you love and light! More videos coming soon. It takes me a while to edit them, but I swear they are coming haha -Lydia
WOW you have so much talent with your production and editing. your work and your skills are amazing too. .But the way you put all of this together in this vid is so well done truly captivating. well done
Wow, thank you so much! This video was such a fun challenge to put together- so I appreciate your comment. To find all of the footage was the first step, then to piece it into something that kind of makes sense... well that took a while haha! Thanks again, and so glad you enjoyed it! All my best to you and yours, Lydia
Such a great video! I've seen 100s of van builds at this point, and I love how you built with reclaimed materials and shared so many special moments creating your van with your family! Seeing all the places you went was the cherry on top!
Wow, well I'm so grateful you enjoyed this video!! Thank you so much for the comment, its an honor! It was really nice to have a good supply of old tools, and wood to put to use. Its amazing what you can do with things that most would consider junk- I mean shoot, we turned into a home on wheels, thats pretty darn cool if you ask me! Haha Thanks again for your input and wishing you a wonderful day!!
You are a treasure! I’m so happy I stumbled upon your video! You have such a delightful personality. May Curious George rest in peace. I lost my elderly kitty a couple years ago and still miss her. I think they are chasing butterflies together, in a wonderful place. Safe travels, Lydia ❤
Thank you so very much for this beautiful comment! I'm so happy that you enjoyed the video. It sure was fun to put it all together :) I'm sorry you lost your kitty too! I know, I still miss George. We always had a small sailboat in our front yard, and he would sit right at the bow of it like a proud sailor. So yes, I think they are either chasing butterflies, or sailing off into the sunset! Haha I like the way we think :) Cheers and thank you again! All my best to you. :) Lydia
She's an absolute Beauty... No, not the van, but that's nice too! Nice work Thanks ! Don't wait to retire, do it as fast as you can, we don't know how many days we have! I'm 68, retired 10 yrs ago from high stress job as a result of cancer, but STILL going!! My Boss is 66 and just retired finally after 30 years of 5 kids and a high powered job as a Finance Director of 3 cities, 10 yrs each. I can't wait to do the same to the 2016 Caravan I just picked up. LOVE the Stow and go, but now love the idea of taking those seats out for more storage! WHAT A Daughter! That DAD is SOOOOO Lucky to have you! WHENEVER you find that right guy, he's gonna be the LUCKIEST guy in the world!
Looks like you are more like your mother than you realize! Trust me girl, loosing a mother is one of the hardest things in life. So love her and enjoy her as much as possible!
This was an amazing video. Your story was so well presented. I really felt like I was right there with you. I was hopeful, excited, saddened, worried, nostalgic, elated, motivated, encouraged, amused, delighted, enriched, fulfilled and so much more. You have an enchanting and compelling way about you that is very unique. I wish you all the best for the future and hope you continue to share more of your sunshine with the world ❤ You’re definitely a good egg!
I'm turning 65 this month and thinking of converting my twin sister's 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. I'm impressed with your solar panels! Great conversion job!
Thank you so much for this comment! I had a great time piecing it all together! Such a fun and challenging endeavor :) Thanks again and wishing you a wonderful day! Cheers and best wishes, Lydia

A partimer, but cant wait to see all the corners of the mitten not yet explored. Safe journies lil queen. your adventures are unforgetable. LOVE that table btw. kiss mom and dad, see u on the black ribbon, safe journies
So you are a Michigander? i am too, from Jackson County, a little town called Grass Lake. I too, as of January 1st, 2025 to start my van build and HIT THE ROAD AND LIVE LARGE RIP George The Cat. Nothing like the love of a beautiful animal. It doesn't get any better!
Amazing … everything about you, your family, camperizing your van … it was all amazing. What a brave, adventurous and lovely young woman you are. I appreciated all your concerns in regards to the solar panels, battery, electrical (eek - scary) and yet your willingness to learn from HOBOTEK and other TY’r’s! From beginning to end I watched enthusiastically. I’m sorry your family FurBaby George passed away. He did live a very long and looks like wonderful life! Glad your Dad recovered. All the best in your other life adventures! 💖
It's so good to see ppl like you with a good heart. Take care along your journey. I too hope to soon be in the van life. As an old bone cancer survivor I want to live the nomad life. I gave up my life for Mom. We (siblings) lived an abusive life. But I stood by Mom and helped her. With most of my life given up to others I want to have freedom.
Thank you for sharing your story! I am so inspired by your strength and determination! Wishing you wonderful adventures ahead! Take the trip ♥️♥️♥️ Cheers and much love. Lids
You are awesome young lady. Good for you following your dreams. My conversion van died. Might do a dodge caravan. I need a desk for sewing. You gave me a great idea.. Go for it. Adventure awaits🎉
Thank you so much for your comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thats sad to hear your conversion van died! I am really happy with the Dodge Caravan as it has not given me any issues so far. I just keep up with the oil changes and tune ups before each adventure and I'm good to go. Glad you got some ideas from this video, and excited for your van adventures. Cheers and best wishes, Lydia
Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us! You are such a beautiful spirited young lady and so funny. Love that wood burnt table. That is totally something Id do myself. Awesome job with your van build! Love your enthusiasm and drive. I plan on getting me a van and doing the very thing. Just waiting for the pieces to fall into place. I'm somewhat nervous because I do have a lil dog that I want to give her the best life possible and hope she will be able to handle temperature rises for her long fur she has. I was thinking on a van that has the compartments in the floor but didnt know the name of the van that has that. Now I know! lol
Thank YOU so much for this beautiful comment! I'm so glad you liked the video, and build. If you have any questions during your build feel free to reach out! I have often thought of getting a dog as well, as it would be SOO nice to have a little travel companion. I have asked myself the exact same question though!! If I do get a dog, I'll just have to make extra stops for walks- maybe more trips to lakes or rivers for them to cool off. I've also looked into portable AC's that actually work- one of them is the ECO WAVE 2- which I've heard good things about- It's just a bit out of my price range for now. But dang, I think that would be a beautiful life for a dog! Lots of adventures, and memories made on the road. Thanks for sharing and let me know what you come up with!! Cheers and love from Lydia
@@LydiaKeenOfficial I absolutely will let you know once I get into a build! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. That says a lot about who you are. I appreciate it.:) I have heard of the eco waves as well. It is indeed out of my price range as well but will keep searching. Stay safe and have fun!
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment! My parents are both doing amazing! Mom is making lots of art, and dad and I are planning for a road trip around the country! Hope you are doing well, and I'm wishing you a wonderful week ahead. Cheers and best wishes, Lydia
Lydia, your journey overlapped some of my July 2023 tour of America. July 1st I crossed the Mackinaw Bridge, Henry Ford Museum, Cleveland, NFL Hall Of Fame, Flight 93 Memorial, Philly on the 4th of July, Top of the World Trade Center, circled the north east, Washington DC, Kentucky for the National Corvette Museum, Nashville, Florida Keys, Mobile, New Orleans, Little Rock, Four Corners, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Golden Gate Bridge, Multnomaw Falls, Seattle Space Needle, Devil’s Tower, Rapid City and back to Wisconsin. 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan (Silver Bullet), added a remote starter for heating and cooling, removed stow n go seats and built a bed. 3,000 videos/photos, 13,482 miles in 24 days and covered 48 states. No Hotels, averaging over 500 miles a day, luckily with no mechanical issues. Chase your dreams, even if the destination is unclear! Subscribed
Thank you for this wonderful comment!! I did it! I'm so glad you enjoyed the journey :) I'm lucky to share it with you guys on RUclips! Cheers and love from Lydia
Lydia. Thank you for sharing your amazing story. Something I have learned in my life is that it's not just about the destination. It is also about who you become along the way. I wish you continued success!!💜🚘
Thank you so very much! It was such a fun and challenging project. I was especially nervous about hooking up the solar panels- so I'm glad it all worked out :) Thanks again for the comment and wishing you a wonderful day! Cheers!
Nicely done, we've often seen you working on your van, it was fun learning about all of the details. I've watched a lot of Hobotechs videos, too. We ended up getting a solar generator he recommended..... Keith & Bonnie
Hey there, Thanks for the comment! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! I'm always working on the little van to keep her up to date for oncoming adventures :) That's awesome you have seen Hobotechs videos too- he really saved the day with my van build and is super thorough!! Lots of love!!
Nice video, good story telling, editing, and drawings, thank you! I like the layout of your DGC campervan. I have one too, with the bed on the driver's side, and with it I've visited many of our epic national parks.
wow, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to meet a fellow DGC camper van fan! haha I also like the idea of having the bed on the drivers side, that would be a huge bonus when you are driving in the city as well! I swear, this Dodge has been such a trooper with all of the wild backroads I've taken! Hope yours is holding up well too :) Cheers and hope you have a great weekend! -Lydia
It is a nice sewing machine. Google the machine manual so you have the information for the future. Make sure to clean all the fuzzies out and oil it. Refer to manual. I have a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan. I took out the stow and goes and put in a bed full back of the van 8" memory foam, very comfortable comfortable! Next I am going to tear it apart and rebuild to twin bed, table etc. so excited. Thanks for sharing your build! I wish I could share a pic of mine for you. I think we have similar taste. Best wishes ❤
Thank you for the wonderful advice :) Yes so true about the sewing manual! I downloaded a general sewing guide- but it was just all gibberish to me haha! So grateful I had my mom to help me out. That is awesome you have a dodge conversion too! I definitely need to fix my mattress- add some more cushion to it so thank you for sharing! Feel free to send a pic to my email, its right on my home page on RUclips! Cheers and happy travels ahead :) Thanks again and talk soon, -Lydia
Thank you for the wonderful message! I'll never stop adventuring! Haha Even if it only brings me to my backyard, I'll find an adventure in it! Thank you so much, and working on some more now :) Cheers and best wishes! -Lydia
Damn 71k views, no bad👍 you started talkin about no extras and less to go wrong and the way you spoke with common sense was a breath of fresh air, then i seen ur dad and understood why you are who you are lol. You guys are great.👍 R.I.P. GEORGE.🥺
Isn't it exciting to you to have people finding your video and commenting so long after you posted? I enjoyed your process and great narration and will look to see if you have other videos. It is such a pleasure to watch and listen to you.! I hope you keep it up.
Lady fellow Michigander!! Love this!! I too am ready to take my T&C on my first road trip! Soo nice your Dad is helping you!! What a great bonding project that you will have forever memories❤
Oh my goodness, thank you so much for saying that! I was so teary eyed when I was editing this video because when you are editing its like you are reliving those moments. It was a very difficult time, but SOOO happy we made it through!! Cheers and best wishes :) Lydia
Wow, I don't know what to say except impressive. Besides the beautiful "table" with ingenious support..(and lovely burned art top) super great idea for "seat" off headrest. Hope your dad is well & I would like it if you would first let your mum know "thanks for instruction with sewing". (No offense Dad) First things first. Definitely. SISU. Churchill (our cat wakes me up by 5a for breakfast, lol.)
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for the wonderful comment! Dad is doing great and I'll be sure to pass the message along to my mom- she will be thrilled to hear it :) SISU indeed, and gotta love the kitties keeping us on a schedule haha! Thanks again, and wishing you a great weekend ahead! Best wishes, Lydia
This is such an awesome video. I have traveled the USA for many years backpacking, camping and hiking. I am so impressed with your dedication to build the minivan and just go for it. You are amazing Lydia. Oh by the way, I live in Eureka, you know, where the Redwoods live in Northern California.
Thanks for making my day! Such a wonderful comment :) I'm so glad to meet a fellow explorer, and hear that you are living in such a beautiful part of the country! My goodness, please say hello to the Redwoods for me! Thanks again for the kind words, and sending all my best to you!
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment & for wishing my dad well! He's healthy as ever and we are gearing up for a cross country road trip in January! Wahoo Wishing you a great weekend ahead! Cheers from Lydia
You're so lucky to have parents who support you in this dream and lifestyle. My mom isn't supportive, i feel get judgment every time i buy anything for my conversion even though I've talked about this dream for most of my life so she knew it would come eventually
Girl! As the mother of 2 amazing young women (20 & 24), a single mom for 18 years, the pride I felt watching you defeat and overcome, is every parents wish for their child! I applaud your tenacity, fortitude and overall girl power! I can see the pride in your parents face! Keep that with you always! Go, do, stay safe and never give up your dreams! ❤
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like the table! :) It is my favorite part of the van to this day. It was such a challenge making the template and troubleshoot the wood burning pen, but hey, it made it all the more rewarding in the end. Thanks again and best wishes! Lydia
Really enjoyed your video. Your table was just beautiful. I have grown up grandchildren and I am going to show them this as we all love camping. Many blessings from Australia.
Thank you for your kind words! It was such a joy to convert my van, and share the story with you all :) I hope they enjoy it too! Many blessings back to you from the USA! Cheers from Lydia
I am absolutely Impressed. HoboTech knows his stuff. I know where you are coming from. It is a learning experience. I am an Old Man but, on the road, too in my Prevost Motorhome. I really enjoy it. I am a retired 747 Cargo Captain It is a joy to see someone like you make their way and do it right. Be Safe and God Bless I will be watching.
Just found your channel in the middle of the night ( here in France ! ) and i'm glad i did. You have such a talent to put smile on us. I wish you all the best for your YT channel and also to your dad's health. I'm also re-doing my Van conversion, a Bedford Midi from 1987 and i think that's why i found your video. Take care, have a safe journey. Fred.
Absolutely loved the entire video. Thank you for sharing the journey. You are my favorite. Was thru the Badlands earlier today and thought of you. Take Care, be safe, and be you.
Oh my goodness I’m so glad you liked it!! I had so much fun adventuring with you 🙌 It was a blast going through all of the footage from that trip. Can’t wait to catch up sometime!! Sending love your way!
Wow Lydia you could really be popular and monetized if you could pull together some of your old videos from your past years of travel! I really enjoyed this video and I’m so happy to see how good it’s been for you, AND I would Love Love Love to watch ANYTHING you’ve recorded in the past! Seriously! You should consider it! No! Just Do it!! Thanks for sharing and sending you so much love!! 💗💕🌸

Oh I absolutely love Anza Borrego! Working on a video about my trip there. I couldn’t fit it into this tour, but I went there on another adventure and can’t wait to go back!! Such a gem of a place. Thank you for the comment ✨🎉🙌 Hope you have a wonderful day :) -Lydia
What an excellent video! I’ve watched thousands of hours of van builds and rv’ing, and am very happy to have found yours! You are an inspiration to everyone, God Bless you! Thank you for putting so much time and effort into the video.
Really enjoyed your story and relationship with your father. My daughter and I did similar but on a shorter basis, she was only 12 but we built out our minivan, she helped where she could. Then we and her friend set out on our 14 state adventure from central Missouri to the pacific ocean. We visited many places along the way. My favorite was the mountains and camping in the forest at the Grand Canyon. This year we are doing it all over again but with different build as the kids need more room now. We will be dropping south to the Gulf, then all the way up the east coast, thru the northern states back home. 22 states this time. Only states left will be the northwest. Thank you for your story.
A wonderful video for many reasons. Showing how you built your van was very helpful but what helped my most of all was how you told your story. You have the ability to inform and inspire which is a rare gift. The photos of some of the places you've visited were a perfect conclusion for this video, they really make me want to get off the fence and do this. I'm so happy to have found your site and will be a regular follower. All the best young lady.
Your drawings look a lot like my drawings of my grand caravan, I had basically the same van. I don't live in it anymore, but I'll be converting a cargo trailer to play in soon.
That is awesome! Glad to meet a fellow Grand Caravan owner :) OOo a cargo trailer sounds like a fun project to work on! I've been contemplating a trailer or van for the future. Not too sure just yet! Hope you have a fun time working on it! Cheers and best wishes, Lydia
❤New subscriber❤. I CAN'T believe you don't have more subs. You are a natural! You have that, "It", factor. I wish you Luck and Joy in your journeys!!!
Hey there! Cheers! I just subscribed to your channel as well :) Thank you SO much for your kind words! It means a lot. I'm excited to follow your journey, and wishing you a wonderful Holiday season ahead. More coming soon. Lots of love!
What a beautiful soul you are! And your sweet parents, in every sense of the word. Thanks for the journey that I probably will never experience in real life, unless I get brave. :)
Thank you so much for your kind words! :) Until then, I'll be sure to take you along for more journeys in my upcoming videos. Thank you again for the comment, and wishing you a beautiful day! All my best to you, -Lydia
At first, i was like, oh its just a very long van build conversation process. It turns out a very valuable and heartwarming video. Hoping success your Chanel.
You have Coeur d'Alene,Wa. It is in Idaho. It's a mistake many people make though. I lived there in the 60's and haven't been back since. I understand it's a very large city now. I hope to get back there one day. I'm a full time nomad but haven't been able to travel as much as I'd like. Be healthy and safe travels.
Oh my goodness, thank you sooo much for pointing that out! This whole time I thought it was right in Washington State. Glad to know better now :) I'll bet that was such a fun place to live in the 60's! & Glad to meet a fellow nomad! I hope doors open, and you are able to travel soon. Wishing you all the best! This was a beautiful documentary of so many things. The build information was great, but so were the experiences you shared with us. Also, wonderful videography. Just WOW! Thanks for sharing!!!
God Bless. Safe travels. I to at 60yrs ventured simply around the States making it to my childhood dream of Maine. It was a beautiful spiritual adventure.

How do you only have 367 subscribers atm??? This is my first time seeing one of your videos, but you are such a great storyteller, you clearly inherited awesome artistic talents from your Mom and your do-it-yourself-ness from your Dad, and you have such a bright, infectious energy. I had to rewind the video 1436 times, but I was finally able to successfully write down every word of the chant. My batch came out perfectly as a result. Wow! Thank you!
I'm so relieved to hear that your dad got better, and I'm truly sorry about your cat. Your ability to weave personal experiences into your content is inspiring. I'll definitely be following along with your journey!

My thoughts exactly! Came for the van build but here I am!❤
Your share made me so emotional 🥹. Wiping away tears and I am asking myself why. The tender way you express your experience. Family love. The Bravery. Your Strength and kindness. Enjoy ☀️ ⛅️ 🌞
Thank you so so much for this heartfelt message! I am so grateful that you shared. It was such an emotional experience, especially with all of the unknowns. That's why with my dad's health back, him and I are going on a giant road trip this January to make a documentary about his life as a teaching artist. Its all coming full circle now because.. life is too short to wait :) I'll be posting a lot of our journey on RUclips so stay tuned! Thank you again so very much! Sending love and light, Lydia
100% agree!!! Its because of people like her that I am now inspired to take the journey. I am currently converting my minivan and documenting my journey. I am ready to see natural beauty and wonders❤❤❤❤❤
It’s not the destination it’s the journey. Even the build was a journey😊. Living your best life. You have an amazing family😊

❤👍Wow! Amazing! 🎉👏
I somehow came across this video and I don't know where to start?
Oh my goodness! Thank you sooo much for such a heartfelt message! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video, and our eclectic artsy hippy home! Haha I am super grateful to have some amazing parents. They always celebrated the arts, and they really gave the freedom to figure out what I wanted to do. I made many mistakes along the way, but so so happy that it brought me to this platform to share my adventures with you all! Love all of your emojis, and your spirit! Working on the next video as we speak :) Yahoo! Have a wonderful weekend my friend :)
Well said👍
Love this video and all the waterfalls, they are my fav! What wonderful parents you have. RIP George. 😿
I'm so glad you loved this video! I am a huge waterfall fan, so I had to stop at every waterfall that I could along the tour!! And yes, I couldn't have done this without the help of my parents! So grateful! & Always RIP to George, he was such a lover!

First-time viewer here. You are so adorable! 😍 Quirky and fun and living life to the fullest. I'm so proud of you and all of your growth, newly learned skills, and sharing your knowledge. Kudos! ✨️
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment! :) I'm so grateful you enjoyed the video! In the moment I was so motivated to just keep going. The ball kept on rolling, and now I just look back at all the places I've been, and how grateful I am to have made that decision! & now end of January my dad and I are hitting the road together to film a documentary about his life, so It's all coming full circle. Can't wait to share more with you and hope you have a wonderful week! Cheers from Lydia!
So much joy in traveling out on your own, but so much a loss to have a beloved child leave. Always stay safe.
Such beautiful words, and so true. My next big trip is a road trip with my dad, so I'm excited to share the journey. It's about time :) Thank you again, and hope you have a wonderful day! I'll be super safe out there :) Cheers from Lydia
@@LydiaKeenOfficial - You bet Lydia. Blessings to you each day. 😉

It is OK to take this time, at my age, and travel my journey I have dreamt about my whole life. Thank you! Your story is beautiful and your soul shines through. Luv ya love your channel❣️ 🚐🛣️🗺️🗻🏜️🌄🏕️💃
Thank you so much for sharing your story! I'm so excited for you, and your upcoming adventures! So proud too! There is no age limit to adventure, just live your best life and wander on :) haha My dad and I are actually gearing up for a giant road trip around the country, and he's 74! I always go back to the quote, "If not now, when?" Happy travels and cheering you on :)
If you ever have any questions send me an email or comment! Cheers from Lydia

WOW you have so much talent with your production and editing. your work and your skills are amazing too. .But the way you put all of this together in this vid is so well done
truly captivating. well done
Wow, thank you so much! This video was such a fun challenge to put together- so I appreciate your comment. To find all of the footage was the first step, then to piece it into something that kind of makes sense... well that took a while haha! Thanks again, and so glad you enjoyed it! All my best to you and yours,
Lydia
Very Impressive; you still seem humble despite some of the amazing things that you have accomplished.
Hey there! Thank you for the wonderful comment ✨💓 It is so nice hearing from ya! Gratitude gets me through 🙌🙌
Outstanding video and achievements. Love your storytelling adventures. Take care, Lydia ... Safe travels 😊❤✌️
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so grateful you enjoyed the video! :) More is on the way! Cheers and best wishes to you! 💓
It sure was fun to put it all together :)
I'm sorry you lost your kitty too! I know, I still miss George. We always had a small sailboat in our front yard, and he would sit right at the bow of it like a proud sailor. So yes, I think they are either chasing butterflies, or sailing off into the sunset! Haha I like the way we think :)
Cheers and thank you again! All my best to you. :) Lydia
How wonderful to have a father like ❤that . Not many of us older gals were that blessed.
First timer. Beautiful video. 60 year old grandma from Ohio. Stay safe out there! Keep living free!!! 🇺🇸
Thank you so much! :) I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video! All my best to you and yours! Cheers from Lydia
Looks like you are more like your mother than you realize! Trust me girl, loosing a mother is one of the hardest things in life. So love her and enjoy her as much as possible!
All I can say is WOW! What a fantastic video. Enjoy your journey called life! Thanks for sharing
I wish you all the best for the future and hope you continue to share more of your sunshine with the world ❤

Haha I’m so glad you liked it!! Right back at you! You and Jen both are so inspiring. Cheers and love from Michigan!
I'm turning 65 this month and thinking of converting my twin sister's 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan. I'm impressed with your solar panels! Great conversion job!
An awesome video! I'm glad you captured the process and journey. You're an interesting person 😊
Thank you so much for this comment! I had a great time piecing it all together! Such a fun and challenging endeavor :) Thanks again and wishing you a wonderful day! Cheers and best wishes, Lydia

Thank you so very much! That means the world coming from you ✨Sending love and wishing you a very happy Halloween!! 🍁🎃💓
So you are a Michigander? i am too, from Jackson County, a little town called Grass Lake. I too, as of January 1st, 2025 to start my van build and HIT THE ROAD AND LIVE LARGE
RIP George The Cat.
Thank you again! If I find any alternatives to the AC I'll keep ya posted as well. Cheers and all my best to you :) -Lydia @@Sunsetschano
Love this sweet and encouraging video! Hope your parents are all well! Thanks for sharing this with us! All the very best to you ❤😊❤
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment!
Subscribed
Beautiful ❤️ you' are amazing Thank you for sharing your Journey I can honestly say I'm proud of you
Thank you for this wonderful comment!!
Your art is beautiful. And this is a very interesting video! Love your build and bravo on tackling the solar system - well done.
Hope yours is holding up well too :)
Cheers and hope you have a great weekend!
Cheers and happy travels ahead :)
Thanks again and talk soon, -Lydia
hahaha you are a real gem! Keep on adventuring and please stay genuine.
Thank you for the wonderful message! I'll never stop adventuring! Haha Even if it only brings me to my backyard, I'll find an adventure in it! Thank you so much, and working on some more now :)
Cheers and best wishes!

I really like your explanation of the solar panel. ❤
What an amazing labor of love! So glad your pops is healthy & hope your adventures continue unabated & filled with joy. Be safe & well, little one.
That is the coolest table I've seen! It is awesome! love the video. thanks for sharing!
This is my second time watching this video!! Brought tears to my eyes all over again. BEAUTIFUL!!!
Fred.

Thank you so much for the comment! I’m so glad that you liked it ✨ Happy Halloween!
You guys are a precious Family!
It’s so clear how much they Love you! 😇♥️
I love that your parents are ALL. for you doing this!! its so refreshing!

What a beautiful soul you are! And your sweet parents, in every sense of the word. Thanks for the journey that I probably will never experience in real life, unless I get brave. :)
Thank you so much for your kind words! :)
Until then, I'll be sure to take you along for more journeys in my upcoming videos. Thank you again for the comment, and wishing you a beautiful day! All my best to you,

Cheers, Lydia
