This video is a critical comparison video of historical figure Ertugrul's life, with flashbacks made from his younger days starring the actor Engin Altan from the drama Dirilis Ertugrul. Existing footage has been taken from two separate historical dramas to make this unique video. At no point do all characters actually share the same screen together. We had to go through over 650 episodes to get the scenes for this stand alone original piece of work.

This is who I am! But watching Resurrection brought me a new respect for Islam. People show such a dedication for their faith and that is a good thing . ❤️

I’m crying my eyes out now... I’m in love with Ertugrul Bey & all his family & Alps. This video with all the scenes truly broke my heart. I no longer fear Muslims after seeing how Godly & tolerant they really are of others that worship differently back then. Even Ertugrul said that God hates extremists that go around killing without provocation like Isis & Taliban do.
Why can’t they be like the Muslims back then & get along & love one another? Engin Altan Duzyatan is the ONLY person who could ever play the part of Ertugrul as perfect as he did! What wonderful men! If Ertugrul was alive today, he’d destroy ISIS & Taliban for hurting & murdering so many innocents!!! He was a FAIR MAN! He killed in self defense or to keep turmoil from hurting the Kayi Tribe & all good people! He hated sinfulness & senseless murdering too. I practically learned Turkish by watching, listening & reading & figured out what words meant what while I watched the series of Dirilis Ertugrul. I wish I had a man like him or his alps, but Ertugrul stole my heart!!!♥️

I am 100% sure anyone who watched this episode have must cried. I am a Sikh from Punjab. I have watched every episode.I loved it. There was a lot to learn from. I see our gurus thru this serial. Guru Gobind Singh (1666-1708 C.E.) is the tenth and last Sikh Guru after his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The guru had relinquished his life while fighting against the injustice of the rulers of that time.His youngest sons, aged 5 and 8, were tortured and then executed by burying them alive into a wall,His two eldest sons, aged 13 and 17, were killed in the Battle of Chamkaur. This serial will be in my mind for looong time. Time to time i will remember Ertugrul,Bamsi, Turgut, Hyma Khatoon,Halima Sultan,Deli Dmeer, Noyan,Sadteen Kopack,Ahmad,Dumrul,Abdul Rehman,Artuk Bay,Gondugdu, And Best of the best BABA Ji Ibni Arbi. I cried even after the episode ended. Was very disappointed Engin Altan didn't portray Ertugrul but I think this actor also did a good job. All the scenes where Ertugrul was very sick and when he died was heartbreaking....I started to watch the Ertugrul series again just to feel better.

I love history and I really love this series, one of my favorites, along with Ben-Hur of the 1950’s, which I have watched about over
100 times in my lifetime and have quit counting it. Ertugrul, his family and friends, are an inspiration with faith, courage, fighting for freedom and justice against a world of oppression and slavery, family values and morals, something which is lacking in many of today’s movies. I have watched Ertugrul over 17 times from the beginning, and just about as many times for the Osman series without tiring from doing so, simply because of the strong stories and strong actors/actresses performances, besides including Mehmet Bozdag’s directing skills, which I recognize and appreciate all the hard work he is doing into bringing history to life, along with the writers. It is never an easy task to accomplish since there are always gaps and missing information with any era in history, along with misinformation, but I also know much is true of the era. Ertugrul and Osman series says a lot to me, otherwise I wouldn’t be watching it as much as I have done so and hopefully I will be to in the future, because I have heard it will be taken off of Netflix and the UK channels, where I watch it the most, I guess by the end of September. So sad. May God/Allah bless you, prayers for everyone. We all need them.
I totally agree. Even though the is no English translation I have watched the Ottoman series and cried with the actors or laughed with them. This series helps to understand the Turkish people, their faith and the struggle to live in peace. Thank you so much for this wonderful series..

Like it’s been discussed and said by some other people who have posted, this show gave me a huge and completely educated look into the Muslim/Islam way of living, albeit from the perspective and lifestyle of over 700 years ago. I had told my family if I was not a believer in Jesus Christ and His teachings, I would have belonged to this religion
I watched Resurrection 7 times and now on Netflix it is gone and I am also going into withdrawal. Glad to be able to pick up parts of it on UTube❤️. There is one God for all of Humanity. I am still waiting to see Kurulus Osman

Many of his companions got to see his dream come true, Abdurrahman Gazi conquered Bursa under the rule of Ertugrul’s grandson Orhan I. Turgut Bey fought for Osman I and Orhan I and was martyred in battle at the age of 120 years old. This Empire, Ertugrul worked to establish lived from 1299 to 1922, Establishing one of the longest most successful empires that has existed on this Earth. This Empire is the one that fulfilled one of the predictions of Muhammad (SAW) who predicted for Constantinople then Rome to be conquered (Rome is yet to be conquered),. Honestly I dont think it was he fault, he did his best. I just think Engin Altan was soo good, that we the audience are just so attached to him. But acting by Osman, Gunduz, and Bamsi was soo good during this episode, moved me to tears.

I cired after seeing Erturgrul Ghazi death scene. It is emotional Bcz when you saw 5 season with heart and then at the end Your favourite character died. But I hope Kurulus Osman will be best and Especially Dundaar Bey due to his stupidity. I will feel more sad if there is Engin Altan in Kurulus Osman. I will wait for Turgut and Doghan's son too.
Dogan already died in Dirilis Ertugrul season 3. Turgut maybe will make cameo in this series, but with different actor. They can't eliminate Turgut CHARACTER because Turgut is the real warrior who conquered Inegol castle (where Nicola sit) with Sultan Osman 1.
