I love this so much! I saw me and a few of my friends in this, as well as countless other people proud of who they are being themselves and having an amazing time. We are so lucky to be alive in this century, this year, where we are free to do this. My friends and I faced slurs on the way to Pride, we were scared if we had to go home separately, made sure to get rid of everything rainbow if we wouldn't be in a big group, but at the end of the day, things are way better than they ever have been. Thank you for capturing this amazing day and immortalising it.

Thank you for this amazing comment and feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the video and had a great time at the march. It breaks our hearts to hear you and your friends faced slurs on the way to pride but we're happy you had a great in the end. Continue to be proud of who you are! We should all feel safe in our city/community despite race, gender or sexuality we're all human at the end of the day. 💚

I love being bisexual . I've had both male & female partners but have stayed loyal to only one partner. For me, it's not about the gender of the person but more about their personality and how I'm treated by them. My preferences these days is finding myself a female partner that I can love for life and grow old with. Xx
Pride marches are a beautiful thing. I'm so proud of the LGBTIQ and I'm honoured to have made this gorgeous community my lifestyle choice.

As a gay man living in Ghana and I have faced death threats, I always live in fear, and knowing I won't be accepted in my country breaks me because this is what I might face all my life. I sometimes contemplate suicide. Seeing this kind of video makes me happy and sad at the same time. I wonder why i was born in a homophobic country I pray I get my freedom to live freely and to be myself.🏳‍🌈..🏳‍🌈

I'm sorry Jake that you live in fear . You shouldn't have to justify your sexuality to anyone. Please stay strong and proud of yourself. You sould be able to love who you choose.
Over 20 years ago , I copped a lot of menacing behaviour over my sexuality. I endured death threats to the point of threatening to burn my house down. That happened to me by letter and also over the phone. One lady wrote to my surrounding neighbours and told them that I was dying from AIDS when in fact I've never even had the disease. I ended up putting my phone on trace and changed my phone number. I was spat on in the street and in the supermarket . I took the letters to my local police station along with a former friend of mine but the police didn't take a statement from us and didn't put it on file. As the police knew who the offender was they rang the Riverland police and sent a police officer to the woman's home. They also rang her mother who was doing her best to sort the situation but couldn't handle her daughter. The offender got away with everything and was never charged due to the fact that she had mental health issues and disabilities.
Many years later in 2022, I'm happy and smiling again. Mu smile , self worth, self esteem and confidence is still intact thankfully.
Jake, please practice self care as it's so very important. Remember to do nice things for yourself. Remain true to yourself. xx
