I have a HHV helmet and needed a Dremel to modify the MLOK just a tad. I secured the wires underneath and used my helmet cover to secure the wires. Thanks for posting!

I used a flat head screw driver and it popped it right off.

i recommend getting a helmet cover and put the wire underneath it

I used a box cutter to cut that wire line. Made a super easy and clean cut.

It's not backwards he just had it upside down trying to figure out what to do with the wire because it rotates.

I also got cheap chinese knock offs i failed to make sure they were compatible with walkers and now am waiting on the correct one

The peltor mounts work better and let you keep the walkie talkie on

True but if you need a Ir/W light, prolly need to mount it there.
