Hi there, i rely on this audio version of the lesson each week but find it really hard to follow any bible text when the NIV is been read as i only have a NKJ Bible & with having a disabitily also when the lesson is being red out or any bible text i like to follow what it says in my bible & is almost impossable to follow when different versions of the bible are been read out & really hope & Pray that we go back to the NKJ Bible , i also know the devil will try to attack me any way he can
Hi Aussie_wheels. Thank you for your very important comment. Yes, for the past 6 or so years I have been using the NKJV which is in slightly more modern English than the 500 yr old English of the KJV I had used in the previous 20 years of recordings. In an attempt to help the many listeners who do not have English as their first language, I have recorded this and next quarters lessons using the modern English of the NIV. I am sorry you are finding it a bit difficult, but in this RUclips version, the texts are included on the screen as I read them. May I encourage you to remain faithfully reading God’s word in whatever version you choose. May God continue to bless you and your family.
looks like i'll have to find another way to be able to do the weekly lessons as i have relyed on this service since it was first started as a person with a disability i cant just read text from a book thats why i loved this so much & i would not just read what was put up on the screen but lookup in my own bible what was put up on the screen & follow the text in my bible as it was read out , then i would get a better understanding of what was being spoken about , but now sadly ..... i cant follow along if its all in niv when i only use NKJ i just hope i can find another place like this place so i can do my weekly lessons & i know the devil will try anything to pull me away from doing my lessons
