@@md_f_dnn He was getting totally overwhelmed. I remember in 2003 when this took place I waited patiently to buy the Video tape simply for Matsuokas demo to see what he did. I thought it was one of his worst demos ever. He looked like his mind wasn't in the right place. No need for so many Uke's in the Randori. From the angle on the video the randori looked a lot worse.
@@acquiesce100 I mean it's not even that I'm seeing randori like this with multiple people it's not a bad exercise and it's really good if you want to get used to live resistance, but his technique here is to be frank not the best he could get toppled over so easily usually the way you're supposed to do this type of randori is that you're not ever supposed to back down or back away because that sets you off balance
@@md_f_dnn Yes. In my opinion not one his best Randori demos by a long way. Not vey helpful in trying to portray Aikido in a good way. I lost count how may times he could have got swamped, smothered and just pounded into the ground.
