People who have a southern accent will trust you more if you sound like them. Think of a really haughty french accent that makes you instantly dislike the person. To southerners (like real deep south) that is what a "normal american accent" sounds like. British is worse.

I just started watching Lucifer when I heard about the SaveLucifer after it was cancelled on Fox. Oh glad I watch it. It's one of my favorite tv show right now. I want Lucifer season 5!
