What’s a must have in your business that you absolutely CANNOT live without??

My brother finally moved out of our small attached house and my husband and I decided today to turn it into our candle shop! I don't have much money to invest in anymore stuff until we sell more consistently so I feel this video will be great for me. I do card stock dust covers as well but we use a custom stamp that has our logo and we cut the circles ourselves. It's a lot of work. We are currently working on getting the small house cleared out and cleaned but looking for inspiration and stumbled on your videos. I don't think people understand just how much work goes into making and selling candles. Especially if you're not tech savvy like myself and are not good at networking... Like myself. But I am really hoping to change all that over the winter and be in business full swing by spring.

omgosh i love the idea of taping the pipette to the FO bottle!! genius. thank you for the tip I'm definitely stealing that! also, I don't think it's "cutting corners" by DIY-ing for your biz. i see it as being smart and keeping costs down. all of those things affect your COGS and I'm here for it.

Great idea to tape the pipettes to the FO bottles for repeated use. Pre-mixing FO is definitely something I'll start to do.

😂and here I am thinking I’m a genius bc I tape my pipettes to the bottles! Another tip is using painter’s tape. I use it to label my silicone cups (love those too), pouring pitchers, especially when I’m making the fragrances over a period of time. Don’t forget using it to label info, like wick size, date made, etc. on test candles. Love ur DIY tips, must be the clever teacher in you.
