Another way is to leave ot there but don't charge it. It might be something wrong with the system so if you're pateint and have a lot of time, ibut you do have to charge it afterwards, i prefer this method if you are very pateint lol

That is backlight problem. Check the backlight section on the board. Also try a known good screen.

If it gets hot when connected to charger, there might be a short component.
