The general in the opening scenes was disgraceful Someone placed every badge, rank what ever could be found on the uniform. The person uncharged of wardrobe should be fired. budget may be tight, but get right what you can
I just turned to this video and, as usual, I read the comments first. YOU were 100% correct! I went to the opening scenes and saw the "general" and the nazis. PATHETIC uniforms! More like Halloween costumes! Wardrobe was done by a first grader. That's all I needed to see.

LOL the German “soldier” in the opening scene has SS runes but a Luftwaffe eagle on his chest… and an armband… and some kind of weird insignia on his hat that does not match the uniform… I’m sorry but I could not watch past that.

At the beginning the steel anti beach landing jacks were shiny, they would have been totally rusted up from the salt, I couldn't watch past that

I enjoyed the movie...did anyone else notice that the colonel had 2 stars and LT bars on his shoulders and LtCol leaf on his chest....and at the end, Brown was wearing Marine stripes with US Army emblems.
Not to mention the woven name tag on the right breat of the colonel's dress uniform!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing Col. Landy is wearing the NDSM which wasn't establish by Eisenhower until nine years later in 1953, never mind the LT and MG epaulet insignia...
I always keep it in the back of my mind that its just a movie . It's like when the fuel tank in a car explodes when someone shoots it and that was debunked a long time ago

As my fellow viewers noticed, attention to detail, or lack thereof, is what makes or breaks a movie. Throwing all different types of uniform markings and insignias out of accuracy just for effect really shows how sloppy of a production this movie was. I can understand working on a low budget, but a little bit of online research goes a long way.

There wasn't war so it was dull
30 miles, what’ll that take 10-12 hours ?! Which is roughly 2.5 mph average speed..damn those boys was in great shape back then! lol I mean make sure you have all four eyes open for enemies..both in front and the two they grew in the back off their heads back then! 😂

I guess I missed something but where is this "jail" that they can just take a walk to get to it BEFORE landing in France??? And setting off mines? Guess they're to trying to be too stealthy? Not a very believable story. Grade C movie, couldn't watch it all.

A black private would just be overflowing with General Level information about the biggest landing in the history of the world sucks as a believable plot. He could probably tell you how many potatoes he peeled last week but that's about it. No private would be able to tell the germans how many paratroops or seaborne soldiers would be in the invasion. The plot is ridiculous. A 2021 movie? It seems like diversity and political correctness has reared it's ugly head to ruin another potentially good movie.

I watched about 10 minutes of this rubbish and couldn't take anymore! Obviously low budget with no technical advisor and untalented actors.
Oh my, the worst war film I’ve ever watched. Who wrote the script? Got to 36 minutes and put myself out of my misery.
