I can't believe I was able to watch that to the end. I never heard so much crying in my life. The smallest US size infantry unit to operate independently in WWII is a 120 man company by TO&E. Not a 10-man squad. The Germans conduct a halt in the middle of an open field, then move out singing with cow bells on, German squads were some of the best in the world for that time, but this film made them look like Idiots. A one-man outpost (LPOP) outside the cave with a party in the cave? Really? Too dumb to continue. Audie Murphy rolling in his grave on this movie.
Man , the only ones who pay the ultimate price in-war is the poor ma. Always having to die for the rich with most soldiers only wanting to live & survive it!
