300 years ago, a vampire named Wayne Gretzky accidentally caused the demise of his true love, leading to the loss of his teeth. In the modern day, he's a history professor at a university and meets a student who looks just like his former girlfriend. After starting a secret relationship with the freshman, he accidentally turns her into a vampire, leading to a regrettable turn of events.

seems like an interesting B flick. The only thing that slightly irked me about it, was how easily pushed around Gretzky is during moments of physical conflict, as it tends to be a known staple that most vampires or vampiric types get tougher as they get older, unless I could be mistaken
It might be because he didn't really drink human blood, and the other ones did. In the fight with the teen boys he just didn't want to hurt them. Also to me he seems like a pacifist since he's been trying to co exist with humans and not hurting them.
there a myth's going both ways they either get stronger by control or physically as they age this can also vary depending on diet animal blood can vary the strength but human blood is best in most myths
The vampire teeth not growing and being weaker is a placeholder for his dick and masculinity
Daughter looks older than the mother and by no means does the mother have Amish values

Coincidences: The female lead is the spitting image of Tricia Helfer, who in the movie is the spitting image of the vampires first love.
Both mother and daughter are the same actress. And yeah, she does really look like Tricia.
The lead is Julie Gonzalo who looks nothing like Tricia Helfer who is a statuesque blonde of BSG & Lucifer fame. Julie was in the Dallas reboot and the last several seasons of Supergirl and a bunch of Hallmark movies and is a brunette from S. America. Completely different actors.
