Lot of people says that this bike hasn't soul, whatever this one would to mean, because they may confuses "soul" with brutal horse power engine or with a argueable (ugly most of times) stetics, but FOR ME, repeat, FOR ME, is a beautiful well thinking and logical bike. Enough torque does not needs 6 speeds, this a proof of this machine was made for real life of most of us.
It has no s oul because its a beast
The CB1300 stood the test of time !
Honda are still making it in 2023, 20 years on and better looking than any of its contenders ever were,
Honda quality and looks win for me.
Still looks incredible, maybe even better than 10 years ago.
I have the CB400SF, in metallic white... I love the 1980s themes of this bike - classic front, party at rear. Right on my era. I'd upgrade to one of these eventually. They actually look better in the flesh!
I have one, from -06. Lovely bike ! Any negativitys...? One: Only 5 gear transmission.
I will choose this over Harley.
Still the best looking in 2020
I love all big CB1000SF, CB1100SF Xeleven and CB1300SF, great bikes !!!
Remember this program....reviewer was really irritating. Owned a cb1300s for 12 years. Lovely bike
Hi Nigel! I am considering to buy one and I would like to know what actually irritated you about the reviewer?
@@enisguersoy hi Enis......had to remind myself by rewatching video. I used to watch this program in early 2000's and the guy generall irritated me on his reviews. Just didn't rate his opinions. CB 1300 is a lovely bike. Powerful and handles well forv a heavy bike. I zoom along and hasn't let me down ever. Plenty of low down grunt. If I had one criticism it would be could do with a 6th gear on motorway (the new ones in Japan have this) . Mine looks like new but if go out on a shitty day it takes a bit of cleaning to keep that way. I also own a VFR 1200F which is a lot more powerful and faster but I still love riding my CB 1300 which says a lot. I did 1400 miles on NC500 in Scotland and it happily went over Applecross pass and never missed a beat. They are also going up in value..paid £5500 in 2009;with 600 miles on it. Saw one same year today (2008) for sale at £6500. Nuff said.
@@nigel274 I test rode the VFR 1200 with the auto and I really liked it. But at the time I was happy with my Fireblade. I was really tempted by the VFR 1200 though, beautiful, classy looking, glossy, modern and fast.
How do the VFR 1200 and CB1300 compare?
Can CB 1300 corner on a roundabout doing a good speed?
@@Google_Does_Evil_Now hi. VFR is lot faster and handles better at fast speeds. It's gearing is a lot higher. CB1300 has suspension but has plenty of torque and handles well. Could do with a 6th gear on motorways but other than that lovely
IOW - best motorcycle ever made - so far
Nice looking bike indeed, even if it's not dated enough, to look older, would love to ride one for a few years.
Retro, best bikes in the world.
Jojo Crazy Cat I agree totally, I have one and love it
I wish Honda would bring this to the USA
I have my first bike. Im thinking i want to own at least 3 bikes. My bike is a good beginners bike but i will get sentimental about it and when i upgrade i think ill keep it.
Lovely machine if it had another pipe it would look the biz imo
Perfect as it is
Gsx 14..
That's the one..
Xjr next for me..
In the real world, the beauty doesn't looks too big or too heavy as the big number 1300cc suggest.
Wonder if this bike will be coming to the US? The CB1100 is a big hit here.
This's my dream....hix...
Not looking old enough. What a dope dude. Your momma looking old enough
I need a replacement for me CBRXX Blackbird ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
Style: 10. This guy wants fake cooling fins and plugs… what a knob.
I wish they bring them to north america
They were not in USA...:(
Love it.
Не знаю что говорите но мот супер
The fueling on the naked one is crap..the one I had was anyway
WHY CAN'T WE HAVE THIS BIKE IN THE US?
YOU HAVE TRUMP
It’s stunning , how much?
池の近くだったり山(丘?)だったり、すげー所に停めてるな。。
is honda x4 1300 and cb1300 the same gene?
Yes they are, they both use the same 1998 engine.
X4 restricted...
is the clutch lever light on pulling in on the honda
A bit subjective, but I'd say yes. I have no problem with my CB1300, though if you use it a lot, like in London traffic, you do feel it a bit.
The Muffler is twice as big as it should be...
Llimonaaaaaaaa
CB 1100 is a better looking bike, unfortunately, neither have shaft drive which is a deal breaker for me.👎
Sup yo! Looks handsome. hungry obscene What's your opinion about 11
The xjr 1300 Kenny is the way 2 go
The xjr 1300 the way 2 go
イケてます!
Lovely bike, but beware of the weight - 540lbs dry!
224 kg don't say inaccurate things
@@alexvtr2976 Are you drunk? I said 540 POUNDS
@@Sunburst75 You wrote 540 lbs dry, converted into kg it is 244.94 kg. The CB 1300 weighs 224 kg dry, which converted into pounds is approximately 493 lbs. Don't you dare tell me I drank anymore. If you don't know, don't talk. Greetings from Italy. If you insult me again I will report you. Learn education.
@@alexvtr2976 Wheelbase, 1510 mm / 59.4 in ; Seat Height, 790 mm / 31.1 in adjustable, lowest setting. ; Ground clearance, 130 mm / 5.1 in ; Dry Weight. 234 kg / 515 lbs ; Fuel . I SAID 540lbs - that says 515lbs so I was 25lbs out - and you were 22lbs out. If you don't know, don't talk. Learn education.

The data I mentioned refers to the bike in the video Honda cb 1300 superfour, you are probably referring to the super bol d'or version which weighs more as it has a half fairing. These are the data taken directly from the workshop manual:
Overall length: 2220 mm (87.4 in)
Overall width: 790 mm (31.1 in)
Overall height 1120 mm (44.1 in)
Wheelbase 1515 mm (59.6 in)
Seat height 790 mm (31.1)
Footpeg height 350 mm (13.8 in)
Ground clearance 135 mm (5.3 in)
Dry weight 224 kg (494 lbs)
Curb weight 252 (556 lbs)
Maximum weight capacity 188 kg (414 lbs)
And after this I say goodbye👋👋👋
Put some phony fins on it? What a dork.
The Suzuki GSX 1400 looks a lot better

The discoloured down pipes spoil the look of it. The Japanese always used to double skin their chrome down pipes so they didn't blue.
