Thank goodness someone else in the U.S. finally got this Mini...!!! I previewed enough China footage of this Mini... that I've been babbling to myself....!!! I got mine in good old windy Okieland about a week ago and only had one afternoon with winds under 25 mph to get my test flights in. It acted exactly like your video showed.... a little 'wonky' on the first take-off. Glad to see that is going to be 'normal' for this Mini. Like you, I only use the 2.7K at 25 fps... like CD says... who uses 4K at 15 fps anymore...??? Overall... I like it for the price... just so tired of those USB charging systems that take forever to get the job done. Maybe after-market will start offering some 120 V multi-charger in the future... along with some decent bags to fit this CFly Mini. Enjoyed ALL your videos I've watch over the years... please keep it up...!!!!
I have yet to see a good one yet looks like they improved a little but it still has lots of issues crash on first flight is not good my advise to people avoid cfly stuff because there is no help from them with issues good review glad you gave a honest opinion I like others didn't hide the issues 😁👍
The cfly mini 2 is a peice of crap... STAY AWAY FROM THIS HUNK OF JUNK... If anyone tells you the newer mini 2 is better. DON'T BELIEVE THEM IT'S GARBAGE...
Nice flight test brother. They’ve improved it a bit since the first samples but still needs some more work done to it. The camera quality is toyish for sure but the transmission signal is strong (anything that goes beyond 500m is good in my opinion) The toilet bowl issue is something that needs to be looked at, I find that when you turn on precise location in your phone, it tends to fix that issue. Btw, that guy definitely distracted you from piloting the drone, at one point you should’ve told him nicely that you need to focus on piloting the drone for a few until you can land it. He asked you so many questions 😂
I would not describe the camera as toyish. It's not professional for sure, but it's far better that that of the nasty quality of some drones out there even at a similar price point.
I liked the video. On min 8:00 when you start flight the 3rd icon on the left lower screen (controller icon) is disabled, same as mine, what is it and how to activate it ? And how to calibrate the drone. TIA
Hi, I've bought the C-Fly Faith Mini but I don't seem to be able to connect with the drone. I never see the big indicator light (only see the battery light on the aircraft). Does somebody know how I can resolve this? :(
I bought one it has a hard time connecting to enough GPS satellites and the controller disconnects with drone in flight not safe enough to fly in my neck of woods I was hoping for a cheaper drone to just play around with so I'm not always flying my DJI drones but I was wrong $200 down the drain
My biggest disappointment with this drone is the follow-me feature. C-Fly drones used to do it perfectly. This one doesn't. It points the camera at anything but me. And worst of all, I can't use the sticks! Why why why do these drone manufacturers have so much trouble getting it right? And that includes DJI, Autel, Fimi, Hubsan. While it is so easy. My $130 L109 Pro does the follow-me perfectly. Stays in compass position (the only correct type), I can use the sticks when I want, return-to-home is auto-updated. I wish the gimbal and camera were better. And no optical active-track is not better than GPS follow-me. Anyone who ever went on a cycling tour will tell you. And yes obstacle avoidance can be of help, but I have sensors in my head. So what's left of this C-Fly Faith Mini I can be positive about? Not much. I can live with the 'not so great' video quality. The spring in one of the phone mounts broke after 2 seconds. Maybe I can fix that? Compass calibration is not always needed, but damn why can't I do it without the phone app? The gimbal goes wacky pretty easily. Please glue everything to our flat Earth or it will slide off. The range even if it is only 1km in reality is fine with me. The flight characteristics are pretty bad compared to a DJI Mini I guess. Especially stopping in mid air. You need 'brake-space'. Is it worth the price? Kinda. Kinda not. For me it is a waste of money. If I can only fly it manually I could just as well have gotten myself a SG108 Pro again. Oh boy that thing was a joy to fly off my recumbent trike. This C-Fly is not. If you want better video quality then the F11 4k Pro could be a better choice. Unfortunately the apps lacks a homepoint-update option. The reason why I tried this C-Fly Faith Mini. Riding back like an idiot if your drone decides to return home is the last thing you want! Or of course spend the extra bucks and get a DJI Mini 2 SE. I should have done so. Of course with Litchi or Maven. Those apps do have a usable follow-me feature.I'm afraid sooner or later I have to go DJI like the rest of the world. I hate having to pay $500 for a couple minutes video a year. I will try contact C-Fly and ask if the please please please can reprogram the follow-me feature on the Faith Mini. If not then don't buy it! A mini backpacker/bicycle drone should have a good working follow-me!!!! That's what mini drones are for.
best mini for the price but sometimes it starts bad but most of the time great

@@x66Hawk66xI thought the camera looks pretty good. 👍
Yes you need to concentrate with this brand of drone... The new cfly mini 2... IS RUBBISH A WASTE OF MONEY THAT WON'T HOVER AND WON'T BRAKE

That is where the intelligent flight modes are. Calibrations are in settings...the three lines on the top right.
@@CirclingtheDrone And what is intelligent flight is ? 🤔😀
I think that icon is for the quick shots, and follow me mode
That must be a good question
Hey I bought one of these and the RC can’t seem to move the gimble Up or Down
Upcy
You should have told the guy you were making a video and focus on the task at hand. Did you do a distance test yet?

I really liked the drone and I have a question where did you order it?

4G Module expansion interface. Probably Remote ID

Yeah. I have another video dropping tomorrow showing the intelligent flight modes...no disconnect issues. Hit or miss I guess.
faulty one maybe?
Nothing but connecting problem!

Hi, thanks for the video of the CFly. JJRC makes the worst drones ever produced, IMO stay away.
What does jjrc have to do with it? C-Fly makes its own drones and JJRC is just an off brand that CFly licenses their drones to.
i had a couple of jerk ones they are not bad beginner drones .
