In the case of preparing a composite material consisting of two different materials, how can I determine the percentage ratio of the two different materials in the ANSYS program? For example, the first matter is 40% and the second is 60%. with best regards
You are welcome! In ANSYS, predefined composite materials are available or you can create customise material also according to ur need. Here, percentage compositions are not required, only Mechanical properties u need to enter like: Young’s modulus, poisson ratio, bulk , tensile stress etc…. What u have mentioned 40% or 60% that’s different matter. This is belongs to material characterisation process where different type of composite material need to be form by adding two or three different material according to use. After that testing will be performed.
Yes.. this tutorial was on adding materials in assignments only. We can create New customise materials also by adding all properties… if required I’ll make a video
