If today's country singers would take a lesson from these beautiful girls we would have REAL country music again , and you could listen to a country station without turning it off in disgust. Today's music is nothing of the sort.
Well said and amazing performance.
Amen to that!
Today's so called country music couldn't hold a candle to these fine ladies. This is the way country music is done.
They aren't gonna do that. They're all too cocky I think, will never happen. We are too far gone from this actual country that we won't get it t back.
My 21 grandson…who plays in a rock band….says country isn’t country anymore…..he says the old country singers are real country singers!
The harmony from these ladies raises the hair on the back of my neck every time. Some things just get better with time!
Never heard of them growing up
Real talent, no auto tune😃
The Forrester Sisters are still wonderful!
They sound almost the same as when the song was originally recorded in 1986. Amazing!
I have always loved The Forester Sisters. Kathy was my music teacher in elementary school. My Great Aunt taught them in school. Amazing ladies, amazing singers. Kathy also taught me how to play an Autoharp.
Do you know if Kathy is still teaching music? that'd be amazing if after recording they go on to teach others to do it
@brianschuerch7059 no, she no longer teaches. I do see Kathy and June grocery shopping. I think it's awesome that we shop I the same stores.
@@marceelaklitzke2454 Is Kathy the lead singer? I’ve always had a huge crush on her.
Who needs “little big town” when you got the forester sisters and other singers from this time this was real country
ブルーグラスは心のふるさと永遠に魂に残るミュージックです
Pure Country Gold
This kind of harmony and superb vocals goes directly to my soul
These Girls are Beautiful ❤️.... Harmony unbelievable....it does get better as time goes on..... been in music 🎶 since 1962....i have seen everything come and go.....this generation has nothing
You feel, the old Souls in this voices, you cant learn you yust have it
Love these ladies’ music! They’re still good as gold!!!
Wow! Real country music! These girls are fantastic and so is the band!
I gotta make a comment to myself...wish I had paid more attention to country music back in the past. I was married to a lady who liked rock
I meet these girls band in shelbyville , indiana back in 1986 or 1987 when i travel the fair they are very nices ladys
@@mr.wizard2974 The fiddle makes it country. You'd never hear a fiddle in rock music.
One of the best examples of good ol fashioned country music as it should be sung! This is country music! Thank you very much!👍
currently doing the installation on Kathy the oldest sisters house these beautiful women are legends and they’re house is amazing btw 😂
I really wish they would do a one-night "reunion" show. They are incredible in concert. I'd fly anywhere to see them. All of their work in music has been stellar, but their first album is pure magic. I still routinely play it... each song is an incredible work of art and emotion. Pure talent that needs to be shared.
Kathy was my chorus teacher in middle and high school and i went i went to school with both her kids and her husband was my 10th grade technology teacher, and junes son carter was a good friend in school
I wish country music was still like this.
I have always loved listening to the Forrester Sisters sing. They still have those beautiful honey-dipped voices.
Man!!!!! I NEVER get tired of this song. GREAT!!!!
The lead singer SOUNDS like she's 20! I remember these girls...And I Miss em! LOVELY HARMONY and lonesome fiddle...ummph!
Oh mama has indeed seen those eyes. It how we all got here 😊
I know I've commented before (sorry)... but I still am hoping for one more concert when these incredible singers perform their entire first album from beginning to end. Guaranteed -- it'd be an amazing experience.
Wow you ladies sound great !!!
You were one of my top five fav when I was 16...
Great song
Lovely country music
One of my very favorite classic country songs. The sisters and the band in this video are just unbelievably fantastic.
Absolutely LOVED the Foresters back in the 80s, and it's so cool to see them singing again!
i have always loved these gals...the "statler brothers" of women's groups in country music..the highest complement i could give them..
They still sound great!!
Huge country crush🤩
The lead singer she is beautiful and has always been.
Love the Forester Sisters! I love every one of their songs but this is a favorite. They harmonize so beautifully & the band is great!

Their singing makes me feel good to listen and proud, too.
O this is great to see these ladies again! Yesterday I listened to their greatest hits on my smartphone. Now I see them performing on your show! RUclips surprises me again and again with unknown recordings.❤ from the Neterlands.
FABULOUS!!!! I still love these gals....wish they would put out some new songs.
I saw the forester sisters a long time ago at the Columbia County fair in upstate N.Y they were great then as they are here in this beautiful song.4 older women blending beautifully together again

Beautiful songs. I am crazy for country songs like these. The sound of country guitars, the fiddles, those duets. God, it's beautiful. .

Wow! Awesome Voices! Beautiful Godly Women... Now... if they can sing like this on this earth, i'd Most Certainly Love to see them sing in Heaven with The Heavenly Choir!!! I KNOW I WILL BE THERE! AMEN. PRAISE THE LORD! AMEN.
wow... this was amazing to see them still going after almost 30 years! Love them and all their music!!!!
Pure class we don't have that class where I live. Brilliant.
Always loved them gals
Sounds just as fresh and new as it did the first time I heard this and so many of their awesome song. Saw them in few different places around Chattanooga before they got on the radio. Love these ladies voices their harmonies are perfection.
They sound as good now as they did in the 80s!
These sister sure do sound awesome!!
Never heard of these ladies before but just does it for me. Gorgeous harmonies. Greetings from Ireland.
The harmonies and that fiddle awesome combination!
Such an amazing group!
Kathy, June, Kim and Christy. What a class act Bunk and Vonnie Forester raised from Lookout Mountain, Ga. I suppose they still have that southern drawl they are so well known for. Some people back in the day mistakenly thought they were from the Lone Star state. Because of their southern drawl. Nope. They be from Georgia. Same state as Jimmy Kotta. That's Jimmy Carter.
Beautiful harmony!
I remember listening to these sisters in my Chevy van, during the late 1980's, with an incredible sound system. Great to hear this sound again. Thanks for posting.
Old country music lover from Morocco .i love bluegrass specially
Some "current country" groups sound pretty okay, till you hear the real country style songs by the real country singers. Love these ladies !
Yes, they still do got it.
So nice to see the ladies looking great and sounding great. Just being themselves is wonderful.😊
Wow! I have not seen these ladies since I worked at KMLE in Phoenix. They did change a lot. Thirty years ago...hard to believe so much time has passed. They sound as good as they did back then. Time keeps slipping into the future.
You know you can sing when you sound even better live than on a recording and these ladies can sing!
Great song and vocals. They still got it. 👍👍
I wish that they were still recording. Wonderful harmony.
The sisters sang so many great songs.
Loved them all. Us GenXers had women and mothers like these.
Mine could sing these like a bird.
The Forester sisters they sound great Amen.
Never heard of these gals before, my loss. Wonderful song and personalities. Love the fiddler, too.
they were big in the mid 80s-mid 90s, all sisters
Made my morning!!!!!!
I love the harmony
I played their first album so many times, I thought my CD player would break. Was lucky to see them in concert as an opening act once... They were so good, I can't even remember who the "main act" was. Incredible performance and musicianship.
It would have to be an act. Lol! But I love it
And I say that because I've never heard them
@@tanyaboyle2173 Check out their first album -- it awesome!

OH SO TRUE! WELL DONE....😁😁😁
I have always loved The Forrester Sisters! In 1988 I made the top ten in a Country Showdown Competition. I had chosen The Forrester Sisters' hit song, "I Fell In Love Again Last Night"...we had to stick to the same song for the 2nd round of competition. At the end of the first night after I made it in the top ten, the Djs that were doing the announcing, announced that THE FORRESTERS were going to be there to judge the 2nd round! OMGOODNESS! Even though, at the 2nd round I did not make it, I have the AWESOME memory of singing The Forrester Sisters' hit song just a few feet from them and their reaction when I started singing it was priceless to me!
Love you ladies.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I miss the good old country songs. These new comers don't even sound like country anymore.
