I think at this point, you're quite proficient enough that you're throwing is combat effective. But it's a good position to neither plan nor count on. I've had blades rebound at me before. I think no reload would be the most useful in combat situation, since you can make sure your knives do enough damage and incapacitate or kill your opponent before they reach you. It's hard to stick a knife with only one throw to a vital point to a moving target! Or even for multiple targets.

Matei Florian notes on one hitter quitters, eye, trechia, kidney, heart, brain stem. Ralph Thorn devolped the no spin to be a combat knife throw. You still throw hard and fast. Another awesome tutorial, brother! Bravo! And this technique where you brush with the thumb is very similar to how I throw the matsubagata shuriken- The ones shaped like a big arrowhead. 👍👍 EDIT: I finally got a notification for this video; I guess the Machines knew we were onto them. 😅
Haha exactly brother they got scared and had to sent you notification this time 😜 do you think this technique has been in traditional Shuriken jutsu? I think I, did not have seen Houzan ever do it
@@AdamCeladin Meifu Shinkage Ryu has a formal technique where two shuriken are held in one hand, and thrown one after the other, much like your no-reload. The Meifu Shinkage Ryu is a new school, like Suzuki Sensei's Mumyou Ryu, but it is based on the techniques of older schools, especially the shurikenjutsu of the Katori Shinto-ryu. So, in short- I don't think it was a common shurikenjutsu technique, but I do believe that it may have been used, historically.

It's like you are in the matrix when you do it. I liked it when you were in China and you and ur brother were throwing no reload I would really hate to be on the receiver end of that. You would look like a pin cushion after you guys would be done. I have tried it but my no spin needs a bit more work but I have been doing the step back drills and it helps a lot I can throw no reload alright with the half spin but not very fast and my yeah my left arm is kinda screwed up electric scooter accident so my shoulder where it meets my neck is bad the bone pops up pretty bad and doctors can't do anything with it but I still try to throw with it but it starts to hurt quickly so I don't stress it very much. I am out there to learn and have fun meet new people so I try not to push myself to hard. Good tutorial as always Mr. Celidan. Thanks. Don't forget the trick shot. Great to hear! No reload is not that difficult but some other techniques are more important to learn first
