I teach riding technique at Knockhill and run the Wheelie school at crail. People forget new riders haven't got the finger muscle memory it feels weird to them and they quickly run out or strength in the clutch hand because they are overly tense on it. Once they get a numb hand they basically either fully pull it or fully let it go. As a rider you don't realise they don't have the dexterity to work a clutch good.
That’s usually what I try teaching people when they hop on my bike. When in doubt squeeze the clutch and all power will be cut off from the wheels. All you gotta do after is brake
I heard the worry and disappointment in, "He told me he rode before?!?" You should have stopped it right then. Never let people ride your motorcycle's folks!

By the sound of his voice I think he may need to reevaluate your priorities. You can buy all the dirtbikes in the world if you really wanted but you'll never be able to go and buy yourself a new dad
True ... but if you've ever had some one tell you they know how to ride only to have them pop the clutch over and over while revving to the moon, it is a little unnerving to the owner.
If he could buy a dad he should think about buying one that can ride a dirt bike, or at least doesn't knowingly tread beyond his depth and ruin your toys.
"Now son, these are the things I DON'T want you to do on this bike" See that lack of helmet? He's combined two lessons in one. Alcohol may be involved, so it may even be three. What a great dad.

@@JackTheGoose How and why is a goose typing?
@@JackTheGoose 🤦♂️
Scared his fricking dad off the bike with his maniacal yelling hahaha, classic.
XDDDD
Sure didn’t help…😊😮
I was always taught that the clutch is your “oh shit” lever. When you’re unable to control it and say oh shit then you pull the clutch lmao
It is definitely a quick way to cut power to the wheel, but this guy couldn't make up his mind in or out! lmfao
@@woowaptibam5253 just dont do it slow speed mid turn on a heavy bike without rear brake unless you wanna watch the bike chunk your ass to the pavement
... yup cluch and rear brake never fails
@@deadshot4245 lmao
@@deadshot4245 tbh u can do it just slowly 🐌
oh well you can always buy a new dirtbike but you can’t buy a new dad
Yeah he's never road 😂 rule one. You panic just pull the clutch in. That man was feathering it like he wanted to pop a wheelie.
Ahhh a fine cocktail of whiskey throttle and coffee clutch, blended perfectly, so smooth.
Lol💀
Especially on the doogy 4 stroke. This is hard to do.
@@toddgittins5692 good point. Yeah there's no way this fella has ever been on a geared bike before. Good job it wasn't a 2T 250 🤯
Dude was treating that clutch lever like a damn stress ball
🥴🥴🤣🤣
Lmao he should never have attempted to even ride a 250, he’s lucky it’s a 4 stroke too 😂
My dad taught me to ride, he’s much older so once I hit about 16-17 I got a brand new YZ250 two stroke, and pops knew his limits 😭 I asked how much gas do I give it and his response was “well it’s a two stroke, go wide” felt like the torch being passed down fr
Bro was letting the clutch lever know who was in charge
I teach riding technique at Knockhill and run the Wheelie school at crail. People forget new riders haven't got the finger muscle memory it feels weird to them and they quickly run out or strength in the clutch hand because they are overly tense on it. Once they get a numb hand they basically either fully pull it or fully let it go. As a rider you don't realise they don't have the dexterity to work a clutch good.
He was trying to use the clutch like a hand brake 😂
fr😭
That’s usually what I try teaching people when they hop on my bike. When in doubt squeeze the clutch and all power will be cut off from the wheels. All you gotta do after is brake
If you look he missed the clutch while it was in whiskey mode lol
I heard the worry and disappointment in, "He told me he rode before?!?" You should have stopped it right then. Never let people ride your motorcycle's folks!
Its his dad bro.
@@thegodfather03 doesn't matter. When it's obvious they haven't rode before
@@Lizardman-ho5yt shouldn't matter. My pops taught me to drive at 14 in his brand new truck, obviously I never rode before.I understand people don't get along with there parents the same way. But if my dad wants to learn to ride on my bike he could any day, he was willing to replace a truck so I could learn to drive I think I should be able to replace a bike for him.
@@Lizardman-ho5yt
Everybody that has ever ridden has had a first time. I guess you don't ride, huh?
@@RalphSampson... there's a big difference in learning and acting like you already know
Dad never rode in his life😂😂😂 that's what you say to ride a bike when you never rode before😂
That’s why you never let someone ride your bike unless you have witnessed them riding.
IKR only a noob lets somebody ride their brand new bike. I've done it with the exact same results.
not even then
It’s a dirtbike if he rides it right it’ll be dropped 500 more times in its life
Unless your bike is a beater and you don't mind a crash
@@joejones2847 if he rides it wrecklessly you mean
I've raced all my life and can tell you I wasn't doing anything right when I hit the ground 😂
No experience, no helmet. What a great combination
Thinking nah, no helmet, if you fall you CAN die that way. Just saying. It happens.
first time i ever rode was on a way bigger bike than that (a sports bike) and i had no gear
An a whole lotta power!! 🤣😂
He smiled looking at the back when he saw the camera 😂
When i started i didn’t use a helmet i started once i got comfortable and started getting ballsy😂
Honestly the dads smile is worth more than any damage on a bike , stay strong dad
Stay strong dad na fr dude screamed stopped to his hurt father smh
Bro was more concerned about the bike than his pops 😭
The terror in your voice, scared me too.
Dad on ground, broken leg: 😳🤯
Son: shit, stAaap...
😂😂😂😂
"I felt like destroying something beautiful." - dad
🤣
Hahaha thats from "Moto club"
"You told me you rode before"
That fistful of clutch work 🤚✊️🤚✊️🤚✊️says otherwise 😂😂😂
By the sound of his voice I think he may need to reevaluate your priorities. You can buy all the dirtbikes in the world if you really wanted but you'll never be able to go and buy yourself a new dad
dads are free tho while dirtbikes aren’t so I’ll take the dirtbike
@@kaden7151 I like the way you think.
True ... but if you've ever had some one tell you they know how to ride only to have them pop the clutch over and over while revving to the moon, it is a little unnerving to the owner.
If he could buy a dad he should think about buying one that can ride a dirt bike, or at least doesn't knowingly tread beyond his depth and ruin your toys.
he literally fell in grass
"Now son, these are the things I DON'T want you to do on this bike" See that lack of helmet? He's combined two lessons in one. Alcohol may be involved, so it may even be three. What a great dad.
no boots 4 lessons
lesson or mistake?
😂😂😂😂
Lol 🤣😀
No gloves
It's your fault, this bike is not for beginners. Just by looking at him sitting on the bike, you can predict what's happening next.
Exactly, don't know how he didn't see it coming lol 😆
100%
I started on a ttr 250 then jumped to a 1100 yamaha
Hmm donno bout that. A 4stroke 250 is like The lowest Class of a propper adult dirtbike. Doubt his dad have ridden before doe haha. He would Probably crash on a slower bike as well. I would be 100% confident in letting a beginner try this, but i would instruct The person how to ride it. In this case id say The father is 100% at fault, lying or letting his ego be The problem.
@Chase Linder neither is your mom
Fanning the clutch like a champion! Son should have been proud of that hole shot!)
