Rebuild a medieval pottery kiln with Master Simon - PART ONE

First day of helping master Simon to rebuilt his medieval design pottery kiln. He uses this kiln to fire glazed and unglazed pottery he sells at reenacting fairs and based the design on similar kilns as found in medieval Western Europe. He explains along the way to set those interested in doing the same on the right path.
This particular kiln is completely constructed from materials found on site: including silty clay, cut and dried grass and pliable undergrowth twigs - exactly like its medieval counterparts.
This video details the first day; part two will detail day two and three, with a special on when it will be fired with its first load of pottery.
