They could stuff traditional foods into bell peppers, and it would be delicious. Just add some rice, cooked hower they like, or diced potatoes with local cheese on top.

If you take their definition of nacho and the Mexican translation of de pollo then you have dancing the chicken? If you have a weak stomach then that's exactly what you will be doing.

When my daughter was growing up - cheese nachos were our traditional Christmas Eve dinner. We could come home from service at our Episcopal church, I could pour tortilla chips on a baking dish, sprinkle with a lot of cheese, stick under the broiler and - BAM - instant festive dish. I'd spread a special tablecloth on the living room floor in front of the TV, put on Christmas cartoons, pour her a glass of raspberry ginger ale (otherwise banned from the house) and The Short Person and I would enjoy a meal we didn't have any other night of the year. When she was about 7, as we enjoyed the special night, she took a bite, sighed and exclaimed, "These are the BEST chips you have ever made!!!" I've had many, many happy memories of being a mother to this particular wonder child - but this is right up there in the top tier. I love nachos!!!!!

And today I learned the word “nacho” means to dance in their language, and “papdum” which seems to be an unleavened bread, which a tortilla is. Thank you for your wonderful videos where I get to see cultures meet. I also (as a Mexican American) never thought about it, but nachos can very much be considered a salad eaten with your fingers if you make it the right way. This is beautiful as always. Thank you. ❤
