On the topic of playability, I think a doll is playable when it has articulation but not so much (like a bjd maybe) where it becomes too fragile to easily dress. And it can be posed in different ways, and dressed easily with features like removable hands and feet, even head for some smaller tops or accessories. I have some dolls that are strictly for display only and I never change them or really do much else with them. But I end up bonding the most with dolls that I can take outside with me and easily change their clothes. Those dolls tend to be Jenny dolls on Obitsu 26cm and the Bandai Pretty Cure Style dolls.

I totally agree !! I love my dolls I don’t worry too much about that I’ll take out easily - I definitely want to get more obitsu bodies
