Indeed! I never managed to get all the crests and sigils; I never even beat a single monster in the Arena. Those conquests are very impressive!
The grinding was painful. The worst part was when I got to Penance. I read that I needed Wakka's wheels limit break. I didn't bother to level him up since I don't get the logic how an underwater football is Final Fantasy X's God killer. I defeated all the Dark Aeons legit through HP damage so I just Zanmato Penance since I couldn't take any more grinding. Was worth it since nothing special happens after except that sense of accomplishment. It would had been a waste of time spending another bunch of days grinding when I could 1 shot it.

My proudest moment has to be sneaking past all those clickers and stuff that just wanna crush you into the pavement at the very end of grounded mode in The Last of Us, and finally beating that mode. It was extremely tense and I nailed every single movement down until I got past them.
Can we please have a few Delsin Easter Eggs in some videos. Like hidden in the background or hacking into your video briefly. Miss that little guy. Love you Access Team. Best Channel Ever on YT❤❤

Ariël Levi I understand. I never let trophies influence my purchase of a game, but sometimes when I’ve been wanting a game for a long tine, it’s on sale, and the trophies are enjoyable, I buy it(I.e.Until Dawn). I think most of us go for platinums to increase the amount of time we spend in a game.

I defeated the deathbringer in Horizon zero dawn on hard while only using my standard bow because I didn't really care for all the crafting, buying and upgrading stuff. The fight probably lasted around 15 minutes, while standing still or running in the wrong direction for a just a second could mean instant death. There was no hiding because the developers thought it was a fun idea to make every object in the arena destructible. You can imagine that it took me a long time and those last few minutes were one of the most intense I experienced in a videogame. I've actually never completed Horizon because of this. I'm totally fine with this being my experience (and not having to fight an even harder boss!)
Killing that one amped up thunder jaw boss inside the cauldron on very/ultra hard is worse. Where it’s a tiny circular room with no cover

That is truly something to be proud of. Not that I hate Xbox as a whole, in fact I believe Xbox has a number of amazing exclusives to it's name as well. However, the main problem I have with the Xbox is the controller because I personally can not stand the asymmetrical analog sticks. With all that said though, welcome to the fold friend!

What is amazing is being able to play and enjoy games from both consoles. I recently bought a ps4 after being a xbox gamer for many a moons. Love those exclusives, but all those achievments, friends, and massive library on xbox wont let me give it up.
I have many gaming moments that I'm proud of, but the one that still tops them all is when I beat Ruby Weapon in FF7.

Getting through the whole Bloodborne including that hardass DLC. What an amazing game!
Beating Sephiroth in kingdom hearts 1 on PS2 and then getting absolutely nothing as a kid 😅 at least in the final mix version, you received a cool looking keyblade and an awesome cutscene with Cloud and Sephiroth 😍
Cucas Nerdy Corner yup. I was super disappointed that I didn't get anything for that. Especially after being killed like 600 times. I am traumatized by how much I heard the "Sora is at low HP!" Alarm.
Gengyo same here 😅 I remember being so nervous when his health bar was on the green and screaming "YEEEEEEES!" when I beat him 😂 Then nothing happened 😥😂 Then heard of this "Final Mix" version and was unable to play it until KH1.5 😂
- my first valkyrie in God of War (I was playing in "Give me a Challenge" difficulty)
- being in the top ten of all time for a race challenge in Gravity Rush 2
- FINALLY getting that freakin platinum for uncharted 4 after 2 years
- finishing The Last of Us on Grounded
- 100%ing Jak X AND Jak II on PS4 in Hero Mode. This sounds like a minor one, but both these games are actually pretty damn hard, so still being able to do it when I'm only moving away from the peak of my gaming ability (which is 26 according to science) was a pretty great feeling.
- For similar reasons, being able to reliably 100% the original PSone Crash Bandicoot in an afternoon is pretty sweet.
- Oh and getting ALL the Platinum relics in Crash 3, CTR, and the N. Sane Trilogy + the DLC levels. No small feat!
Defeating dark aeons is ridiculously hard. The stats are incredible and they kick your ass!
I'm definitely in camp Rob here. It's something to be proud of.....unless you used the yojimbo trick.....

I just managed to platinum Overwatch... kind of a different situation considering God of War is single player stoyr and Overwatch is multiplayer fps but I'm still extremely proud XD

If it's just the collectibles you need in Killing Floor 2. Do it solo and leave one of the fat guy alive while you run around looking for the collectibles.

As someone who has also platinumed bloodborne, I can appreciate how much work that was. The cursed dungeon with amygdala was brutal. Congrats man.

LizPlays not that hard tbh, avoiding 100 lightnings in a row seems more impossible to me
that is actually alot easier to do, there a crater that you can force spawn the bolts
My proudest gaming moment is when i challenged my mate to a game of Fifa 18 and ended his undefeated streak. He hadnt lost a match since Xmas of 2017. So i got better and better at Fifa and beat him 3-1 with Germany and he was England.

When the original Rock Band came out, I got myself into the top 450 on drums. I think a big part of that was simply that I had played all the songs, because I only played on the normal difficulty.
I remember my first Dark Aeon! I was wondering through Besaid watching for Tidus' Crest or sigil and decided to go into town and BOOM! Dark Valefor comes in and one shots my entire team. Then I spent like another 100 hours maxing my characters, creating the perfect armor, finding the ultimate weapons and taking out dark Aeon after dark Aeon. Then I smashed Penance. Twas great! Current playthrough is at 220 hours.
Wow Rob beat Penance in FFX!!!! Amazing!
Mine is being one relic away from getting the platinum for Crash Bandicoot (the original) just before the save corrupted.

I've been bragging about my Horizon platinum since past year. HZD platinum isn't difficult if you have the habbit of collecting collectibles while on the way.
Beating the Final Fantasy 8 version of Omega weapon. Still the hardest boss I ever had to beat.
I have a few gaming moments I'm fairly proud of. Some of which include:
- Getting the Flawless Raider Achievement in Destiny
- Solo'ing the Crotas Revenge raid and the Templar boss in the Vault of Glass
- Beating the Orphan of Kos solo with a dedicated Arcane character on NG and NG+
- Beating Bloodborne with no main weapons and exclusively an off hand gun. Including the DLC and optional fights.
- Getting the platinum trophies from Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne

My best accomplishment? Among these:
- My LBP level (Oculynth) getting over 30,000 plays.
- Getting gold on all 200 Trackmania Turbo campaign stages. (Literally the most difficult thing I've ever managed)
- Getting 999,999 on the original Lumines.
- Getting every dog tag on Metal Gear Solid 2. (Beating Extreme difficulty was a nightmare...)
Kudos on the Trackmania medals. Currently going through them myself, but i'm only about halfway there and I feel like I'm close to my limit. Don't think I'll ever get all 200, unfortunately.
DrGoliath Blue series is extremely tough. Red series is horrific agony. Black series is absolute hell on earth. Tracks 175 and 180 (the hardest in the game for me) each took me around 8-10 hours of consecutive attempts to get gold, and even then I just barely made it by a second or two. Trackmania Turbo is heavily underrated as far as hard games go. Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Ninja Gaiden, Super Meat Boy, they're all a damn walk in the park compared with Trackmania Turbo. But my man, persevere, because once you've beaten it you'll feel like a million bucks. But in the meantime it seems impossible... (I know the feeling. I would stare at the game case and think "will I ever beat you?") That said I adore the game. It pushed me to my absolute limit but you can't fault the handling or mechanics at all.
I know it's a bit late but my greatest moment of accomplishment in gaming was defeating Culex in Super Mario RPG before I found out about the lazy shell. I was screaming at the TV " I've got you!! I've got you!!" then laughed maniacally for like an hour. It's so happy.
My proudest platinum for me I would have to say getting the platinum for GTA 4 , a lot of people give up on that platinum because having to do literally everything in multiplayer mode and have it glitch out on you at the end would suck big time lol but my most proudest gaming moment is finishing my first ever jrpg game - Tales Of Berseria, I really loved it and it almost made me cry at the end , really really great game and that game also got me into the tales series 💕 I also miss my mom watching me play video games cuz now she says they’re a waste of time 😂
The fact that Rob dodged lighting for roughly a year to unlock Lulu's sigil (crest?) is enough for me. Hell I didn't even get Anima, I was too busy playing blitzball!
Defeating Nameless King.
I think mine was playing Horizon: Zero Dawn and defeating the Corrupted Behemoth. I hadn't really been paying too much attention to upgrading and changing weapons, let alone using them so when I first faced the Behemoth I was totally unprepared. I was tearing my hair out as I realised just how out of my depth I was. I looked at walkthroughs, tutorials for how to use the weapons effectively but there was only one thing left for it. I had to defeat the Behemoth. Nothing prepares you in the game like experience so with my original bow and a ropecaster (which I hadn't used up until this point) I set about to kill the Behemoth and as I played I finally figured out how to play properly and make the most of it. It opened up the game for me and it became a game I truly love and never wanted to stop playing. All thanks to that Behemoth who woke me up to the potential I had as a player and the world of Horizon: Zero Dawn.
I only have a couple of Platinums and that too the easy ones - FFXV, Nier: Automata so there's not a specific trophy that I am proud of. My proudest moment lies in having the energy to finishing a series really quickly(not speedruns, first time plays). Before Uncharted 4 came out, I finished the Uncharted Trilogy in 2 days. Felt really good.
My big gaming moment is getting the platinum for DOOM. It's a game that's brilliant so it wasn't like it was draining to get trophies for, but to get one of them involved beating the first mission on ultra-nightmare. This was near impossible for me. I eventually started to work out a routine for doing the first combat section (hint: go around in circles and charge shot pistol), then the tricky bit comes near the end. A massive bottleneck in which Imps can instakill you and you have to dodge and aim super well. This was the hardest bit. After maybe 30 attempts, I beat it.
Anytime I’ve actually finished a game. Not 100%, just the story 😂😂
Oliver Bath this is literally me too, I'm not someone who likes doing extra content or grinding and I get so easily distracted from one game to the next that finishing one is a huge achievement for me :')
What a coincidence. My most recent Platinum trophy is from Horizon Zero Dawn. That makes Platinum trophy number 11.
I never beat Yellow version as kid, so beating it on the 2DS gave me lot of pride.

Gaming moments I'm really proud of - My Persona 5 platinum because it was my first Persona and my first JRPG. Beating DMC 1 and 3 on DMD Difficulty and 100%ing Horizon Zero Dawn (Main game/side stuff/challenges everything) on Ultra Hard mode (but not the Frozen Wilds). Or perhaps any game on the hardest difficulty.
Being number 1 on the monthly Resogun leader board for a bit... During the round, the month reset sotherewere only a few submissions haha but I still felt dang proud
My proudest moment was beating GTA: San Andreas without cheat codes! Lol that’s when I decided to become an adult.
After I completed San Andreas, I came to know that there are cheat codes....therefore I completed San Andreas without Cheat codes! Xd I was 9 then
Kasko bi bravo! Haha I played so many games with cheat codes 😔 the game shark was my best friend. But I hit a place in my life where I realized how much better games are without them!
In the Shadow of the Colossus PS4 remaster I was able to make Wander strike a Superman pose while standing on Agro’s back as Agro jumped off of a small cliff... proudest moment! Haha
Getting the platinum in dark souls. Literally ten minutes ago.
Long time watcher, First time commentor. Rob, you can use Yojimbo's "overdrive" Zanmato which kills them instantly. I equiped Auron with his ultimate weapon (it has preemptive strike on it) , swapped him out with Yuna (made sure she had her overdrive, don't know if it improved the odds or not) summoned Yojimbo and if he nodded when you paid him he would do Zanmato killing the dark Aeon or Aeons (Magus Sisters) instantly.
It took a few goes per Aeon but much quicker then slogging it out for hours.
For me, it was getting all of the Gwent cards in the base version of The Witcher 3. A guide was telling me that the last card I needed was being sold by a merchant in a particular town, but the merchant wasn't there. Frustrated with the quest, I decided to go do a nearby question mark on the map, where I discovered a person in distress, who happened to be the exact merchant I was looking for.

I got the platinum for Horizon Zero Dawn this week as well! I was hoping something along the lines of achieving a platinum trophy would be on this list (because, how can it not be) and hearing that you got it as well Nath is such a coincidence.
Defeating Cleric Beast and Moon Presence first time has to be one of my favourite achievements.
I don’t know why but i love these Friday videos. They are well edited and it’s a fantastic watch.

Beating all levels in Super Meat Boy's dark world is the gaming thing i'm most proud of... not even close to platinum, but still took a lot of patience and intense practice!

My proudest gaming moment is probably beating all the hidden bosses in Kingdom Hearts, but specifically beating Sephiroth. I literally screeched like a banshee and laid down on the floor while hyperventilating. It was beautiful. Also proud of some of my Uncharted 4 trophies.
When I got sphere master in FFX! I love that game and had played it on and off for years without ever finishing anyone's grid. Fond memories of racking up those fortune spheres.
Beating TLOU on grounded difficulty is definitely something I'm proud of. You honestly have to approach each encounter scientifically if you want to have enough materials for the end game fights
Platinum relic on 'Stormy Ascent' genuinely had me doing a victory dance around the room before swiftly turning off Sony and swearing never again! Da da da daaa daa daa da da-daaaa

Don't worry Rob. I know what a Dark Aeon is. I was 13 when I got my copy of Final Fantasy X on my PS2 (both of which I still own) and I understand the sheer amount of grinding, patience and frustration you have to go through to defeat the Dark Aeons. The Dark Magus Sisters are the ones who really put my rage into overdrive. And I won't even mention Penance (mostly because it's not actually a Dark Aeon).
Dude, screw the Dark Aeons! The sheer patience you must’ve had to get the sigils/crests (seriously, F&@# the lightning and chocobo challenge!) to even stand a chance of beating them... I tip my hat to you, good sir!
My proudest gaming moment was about 2 hours in to Uncharted. It was at that moment that I knew I had chosen the correct console to deliver experiences that just weren’t available anywhere else.
One of my moments I'm most fond of has to be in Metal Gear Solid 2 (on the Vita). I had just gotten to one of the lower levels of the Tanker, walked out onto this catwalk and there's a guard right in front of me! I quickly get behind him and input the melee combo. The guard gets knocked over the railing but for some reason the camera suddenly tracks this guy as he falls. Turns out, there was another guard right under the catwalk I stood on, and kicking that guy over the railing sent him crashing right onto the second guard, knocking them both out.
I love Dan :). Also that was a fantastic Vegeta impression!
Proudest gaming moments I can think of - Defeating the final boss of the surge and more importantly the final boss of drakengard 3 which required probably about ten hours of practice before i was able to perform this hypnotic rhythm based fight perfectly.
Completing _"Day of the Tentacle"_ back in the 90s with only 2 tiny hints from friends. Of course I had to replay it when it came out on PS4. The remastered version is great, the story still hilarious and brilliant. For me, this is definitely the best Point & Click adventure ever. Everyone who likes adventures should play it.
The moment that platinum popped for Bloodborne will always be my proudest moment in gaming
Defeating Emerald and Ruby Weapon in Final Fantasy 7 was a good achievement for me. It was one of those things where I recorded them with a VCR, because otherwise my friends wouldn't believe me. It was one of those big, considered unachievable gaming feats for kids at the time.
i legitimately wondered why rob's mom was at his workplace when "ROBERT!" happened, then i remembered it was dave the whole time lol.
JC3 Platinum was a big moment for me. What an aching process to take it down, but ya boi got it!
I got the best ending in Munch's Odyssey on my first playthrough back in the O-Xbox days. Pretty proud of that.

Surprised Nathan didn't have the HZD Plat until just recently. That was an excellent game and fun Plat.
I have some Bad Company 2 kills I'm proud of and dont think I'll ever forget. Nailed an across map RPG kill were I relied on my knowledge of the arc...Damn that online was great.
Getting the platinum trophy in all 3 crash remakes, fortnite solo win, gta 5 platinum
Horizon Zero Dawn is the only game I've got the Platinum trophy for. Achieved it a few months ago :)

My proudest achievement in gaming is beating all but two of the developer times on the original PAL version of Crash 3, four of those being world top ten times.

GTAV near the airport there's a sort of ramp with a red car on, now it's not a clever move but once I managed to launch myself off it onto that triangle shaped billboard thing...once in a lifetime trick

When I killed one of the giant worms in Lost Planet before I even knew I could. Never gonna forget that one.
Someone should make a Jurassic park game where you make a park and stuff, and the more Dino’s and bigger the park, the more credits you get, and then when you get to like a million or something, it changes to a first person game about being a guest to the park as a viewing thing, but it then becomes about escaping the park when the dinosaurs escape. And it’d be like the better you did in the first half, the harder the second half is.
106% on Super Meat Boy is my proudest moment, knowing I'd fully completed the game, every level, every bandage, every warp zone, after nearly 200 hours and over 10,000 deaths felt amazing!
