My son is two and diagnosed with cru du chat. He may never walk or talk and temple street recommend early interventions therapies. He is 2 now and enable ireland meath give him 0 hours phsyios, 0 hours O.T and 0 speach. They say they dont have the resources. My boy has been let down by this government. Health services were better when i was born premature in the 80's. Shame on this government. We pay for all private therapies, travel to monaghan from dublin to visit the only speach therapist we could find. Shame on this government. I have given up my job to look after my boy and we are struggling with therapy and household costs but recieve no carer alloawnce for our severely diabled son and yet we spend over 2 billion on housing and schooling illegal immigrants shame on this government. Government wont spend money on front line workers for disabled kids but will find the funds to build the world most expensive building, bike shed and security hut in the history of the world, shame on this government and if they get into power again my family tree that has been in ireland for hundreds of years will be forced to leave this county because the government has abandoned us, shame on this government

A public servant cannot be sacked for gross incompetence. Aontu can bluster all they want but until you can dismiss a public servant as part of their contract then you are just wasting our time. No public sector union will allow this. Tóibín knows this, the public know this as do all public servants.

They have had children's hospital in the south and West of country as well as Dublin for less then the cost of the present disaster.

It’s simple if you want a section to grow you relax the red tape in that sector building, nursing home’s & crèche”s all over regularised.
