I still can't get over how the trial deck packaging looks

@@jawn5661 neither, it just looks odd. The window and the bit with the hanger hole has not been on the same side prior to that deck
@@ZhadTheRad now that you mention it, it does look odd. Initially I was thinking it was due to the odd packaging design and lack of effort with it.
if i want to start vanguard is this good structure deck ? (i play yu gi oh and i just thought vanguard was kinda fun :D also im kinda broke xd)

It actually did have two I saw it fall out of the box at the end of the video.

when overdress came out i kind of stopped playing, is overdress actually good? should i buy a trial deck or something with my friends? i usually play buddyfight, standard vanguard (the remake one), or yugioh. idk if i should get into overdress cuz i heard it’s different
I am new to Vanguard, so I have no idea about anything. Overdress is a new format? For a second, I thought this Lyrical deck was based on an already existing anime series, like how Weiss Schwarz is. What even is this game about?
@@ninezerotwo1778 well i’m not a veteran at this game either 💀 i’ve watched the whole old series, most of g, and the remake which are basically connected, but g has a new protagonist and new format. overdress has none of the characters from the old series’s (i only watched one ep but i didn’t see a trace of anyone i knew), and it also has something called persuna ride or something instead of force which is also new. since ur new this may be rlly confusing to u but you can choose any versions of the series and buy decks from it online to play with friends. if ur playing competitively thennnn idrk maybe overdress is the meta rn i’m not into competitive play.
@@ninezerotwo1778 to answer ur second question (sorry i’m not good at explaining you should watch the first two eps of vanguard to understand how to play but i’ll try to tell u a bit), this games abt you being a vanguard and being supported by 5 other units around you (rear guards). each turn you can make ur vanguard stronger by riding (no pun intended). you start off has a grade 0 and advance all the way to 3 (the “vanguard G” format goes up to 4). you need to attack ur opponents vanguard in order to inflict damage. every time u attack u can check for triggers by drawing the top 1-2 cards from ur deck (gr 1-2 let’s u draw 1, gr 3 let’s you draw/check for 2). when u check there could be triggers which basically give you special effects like doing additional damage or healing or drawing an extra card etc. if you wanna defend an attack you place cards from ur hands or field in a sideways position where it shows their defence. basically this goes on until one of u hits 6 damage.
Ummm yeah overdress is quite fun so far because its a break from all the powercreep nonsense and I mean the starter decks are really cheap so I recommend it to you, plus there's really no difference between this and standard other than the way you ride but I personally like that change as deck building is a lot more easy than in standard format as grade ratios are really not a thing anymore.

is there a difference between trial deck vs starter deck?
trial deck is a deck that a character in the anime used, weaker cards alot of commons u prolly won't win with it, trial deck is like to teach u the game using like a noob deck it comes with a guide for this reason, start deck is more of a " proper deck " that u need to learn for people who already know how to play vanguard which is why there's no start guide it comes with extras that trial decks dont why is why there's counters to start you off u can expect to win with starter decks alot more than trial decks
