- In today's video the duramax gets a new absolutely massive exhaust and it sounds amazing!!!
We replace the full 4" exhaust that came on the truck with a beefier 5" exhaust!! Exactly why the duramax needed!

Man it was the best thing ever spending the money to get my 2015 LML deleted and tuned i’ve always dreamed of a loud diesel since a kid and at 20 i was blessed to make it happen! I plan to have a duramax collection when im older 🤣

Truck sounds badass, loving the new exhaust setup. I think a large 8-10" dumped but tucked/slash cut would look cool or like a nice clean but larger elbow tip. I think a polished drive shaft/exhaust pipe would subtly match the other chrome/wheels and look nice. Some track bars would look sick if you're into that style. Anyways lovin the vids and progress.
My boss just got a 8” tip on his 5” exhaust on his 2011 and it makes a big difference from his 5” to 6” that he had precious! Remember Beveled tip tones down the whistle. Straight out non beveled edge is a way louder whistle.

Glad this could put a smile on my face because today has been pretty shitty. Side swiped my truck on a pillar in a parking garage cause I wasn’t paying attention enough, worst part is my trucks black so you see all the primer and scratches in the clear coat now. It went down to the god damned metal too. 😢

One thing you can do is I believe with those duramax engines you can tune for a turbo or rumble idle, the rumble would sounds amazing

That’s one beautiful truck man I hope one day to own a diesel myself the sound of that Turbo never gets old would definitely say axle dump with the 10 inch muffler that would look aggressive

I have a victory red Chevy I want to get paint matched I have the 99-06 style tow mirrors can you paint a set of those and put them on at least one side so I can see how they would look?

where did you get yours from? and is it a cat back or dp back?
I think it will look complete if you take the flares off and sidemolding and a full debadge except the grille bow tie and some billet inserts👌

8" hex tip would look good just behind the axle. You could get a red one
i actually like it with the exhaust as is. maybe trimming it back a bit on the end. but other than that looks great!!

Try an axel dump see if you like it and try and run an 8 inch tip and the high temp paint is a great idea my dad has the high temp paint on his lbz and it’s held up for around 9 years I want to say
Ik your not a fan of the custom tips. But a chrome or color matched tip would look great on the truck.
