I recommend golfing gloves on both hands. They protect the leather of the blocker and trapper, which means they'll last longer before needing repalmed, and they help to absorb the sting when you make a save with either trapper or stick. I've used them for years, it works well for me.

Two things, 1) How do you play without a water bottle, I’d pass out! 2) I’m 5’3 at best. Extremely small goalie in beer league. Every play I literally say to myself be tall, get up.
