@@harukosan_yt2654 I think looking into color theory can help you with choosing colors that can work together. This painting utilizes the darker cool palette, so dark purples and blues. Knowing how colors work with each other will definitely help with doing paintings successfully
@@harukosan_yt2654 I'm not Hyanna, but I can give you some advice as an online artist nonetheless :) I think it's important that you draw what you personally want to draw, and not 'what people wanna see'. People tend to be drawn towards individuals that are unapologetically striking out and doing their own thing, plus you'll be much happier doing art that you enjoy rather than worrying whether people will like it :) I would recommend studying colour theory to get the hang of colours a bit more - just google 'colour theory' and pretty much any website or video will be able to teach you the basics. Best of luck with your artwork!

There’s this thing that I like to do when shading, and it’s basically just using a hot pink (a little red) and (since I use IbisPaint-) I use the airbrush to one side and sometimes I lower the opacity You don’t have to use this it’s just something that I do

Heya Hyan!! I have a small question. When you use multiply to make your lineart the "same" color as the colours on layers below it works, but for me it doesn't. Can you clarify how you use multiply in your lineart to make it "change automatically" when you paint in layer below the linearts?? Love this video ~
