For your convenience MLB the show tips If you trade for a reliever with good stamina (IE. Tyler Wells or Daniel Palencia) and then change him to a starter his overall can go up like 10 (you do have to change their potential to match their overall though). The depth chart is generally pretty bad, and Quiero is pretty solid. Those 30 overalls at 12:45 will be Adolis Garcia types, where they come into the MLB at age 27-30 but mash once they’re there. I’ve seen some bust, but usually they are good. The most important attributes for a pitcher are W/9 and K/9. The guys like the one at 13:28 always have good overalls but mid-60s potentials. Chris Morel usually mashes in this game
Kenny, those overall numbers on your depth chart are only projections. They can be altered significantly by how you play that player. The letter grade can fluctuate as well. Again, dependent on how you play the specific player. Just like attributes, the more you successfully or unsuccessfully use an attribute determines whether it increases/decreases. Edit: Your training regimen also affects these stats.
Kenny you need to start looking at the WHIP instead of ERA, its the best way to judge a pitcher WHIP stands for walk + hits per inning pitched, the lower the whip the better.
whip is not at all the best way to judge a pitcher. era isnt great but its better than using whip. mlb the show does give fip which is probably the best way to judge in the game
Kenny, when a player is drafted, they are under team control for a minimum of 6 years when they are added to the 40 man roster. 3 years Renewable contracts, where the team has control of the salary, and then 3 years of arbitration, where the salary is negotiated. A prayer only enters full free agency when they 6 years are up, or if they are not offered a contract during the 6 years of team control. They can be offered a full contract for longer than just the six years if you want to lock them up for a while.
This literally the only thing I look forward to on RUclips. I haven’t been invested in a series in a long time keep the content coming Kenny and more often pls🙏🏻😂
Kenny, Arbitration is good because you're still guaranteed to keep them around next year, you just might have to pay them a little more. It's kind of like a Team Option, but the player can ask for a raise if they're performing good. It's when they get to Free Agency you gotta start worrying about them walking.
I recommend watching a quick scouting tips and tricks video, it makes a world of difference imo. I watched one made by a channel named fiend franchise and it helped me consistently get good draft picks every year
Austin Meadows has had a lot of mental health issues and it is unknown if he will sign another MLB contract. He was great with the Rays and looked to be a future star, but it went downhill after he got traded to the tigers for Isaac Paredes who is now on your team.
Also every Pirates fan knows Bednar's song is Renegade. Though idk if they'd still be playing that in Chicago, it's such a Pittsburgh song, they even play it at Steelers games.
Love the series, Kenny. Glad to see the Sox heading in the right direction. BBRef guide says it is "Robert" (just as it looks) and Mr. Paredes is (for some reason) "e-sock." All hail King Thorpe.
tips Put your best pitchers at the top of the rotation because when playing a good team if you have a bad pitcher on the bump and they have a ace there ace wont give up as many runs as a guy who sholdt be at the top example: Kopach should be first in the rotation
I enjoy watching this series and your MLB The Show franchise. I wish you the best of luck with your season and franchise. I really do hope u get the win cause you are doing an amazing job with your franchises. I also am a huge franchise person when it comes to The Show and do believe that you will have success in your franchise. I look forward to and can’t wait for the u episode #KeepTheSeriesGoing #WatchTilTheEnd #AlwaysLeaveALike
Hi kenny love the white sox series. You should edit the pitch Velo on Drew thorpes 4-seam fastball he’s more 92-95 and it absolutely dominates hitters. Just wanting to make it more realistic and harder to hit because in real life it is because of how amazing his changeup is and he’s is able to locate his 4-seam off the changeup.
Yes Parker meadows is related to Austin meadows. They were both on the tigers last year but Austin was dealing with mental health problems so he isn’t on a team right now
BTW, Kenny, if you're gonna make defensive replacements for catchers, you should have an emergency backup catcher just in case the replacement gets injured, that way you don't have to play someone out of position
I've noticed that if a player in your lineup is on a cold streak, you could rearrange their spot in their lineup and I would say most of the time it fixes their cold streak
Ok, I feel like we need to come out and say that it doesn't really matter if a trade makes sense. If your enjoying the game and you happen to pick up talent, you should do it. If you're trading a good player away, it could make sense. We still are going to enjoy your content anyway!
IDK if you know this but when you get a guy 100% scouted, if you do him one more week you will see his true stuff, the scouted potential and overall isnt always correct (even tho it says 100% scouted)
Kenny knows he put a clickbait putting that 17 on his thumbnail, knowing he's not trading for Ohtani. Regardless, I am happy for all your successes. You and YoungNarrow got me back into basketball and I'm grateful for it. I hope you know that!
just for the future, it’s pronounced ee-sock puh-ray-dees. ofc wouldn’t expect you to know that but thought if he’s a big part of the future it would be good to know
"Castellanos hit 2 bombs so somebody must have died." 😂😂😂
Was just about to comment this😂
What a reference lol

Lowkey addicted to this series
You should put Jake bauers as the DH vs Right and have Andrew Vaughn as the DH vs Left
Highkey I wait for this series all week
Kenny you need to start looking at the WHIP instead of ERA, its the best way to judge a pitcher
WHIP stands for walk + hits per inning pitched, the lower the whip the better.
FIP too. Defense might be selling
Thank you for that. Never really knew what WHIP meant
whip is not at all the best way to judge a pitcher. era isnt great but its better than using whip. mlb the show does give fip which is probably the best way to judge in the game
@@nate.s yeah but fip is never on the main statline
letsssss gooooo absolutely love this series, its great to see kenny having fun playing games again. a road to the show series would be awesome

also, parker and austin are brothers. unfortunately austin hasn’t played since april of last year because of anxiety
Portillo for Manager of the Year 🔥
His son is ass tho
Im loving this series. Keep it going Kenny! We need to see these guys progress and win a championship

love the vids kenny, just so you know Isaac Paredes pronounces his name “e-sock”
Innit E-Sack?
This has been my favorite series in a while I’m loving it Kenny doing amazing!!
“Put it on the board… yes” shout out to numbers on the board 😂🤝🏾
The catcher is generational
imagine he trades for Kevin Durant 😂
28:04 Parker is Austin Meadows younger brother, and yes Austin used to be on the Tigers as well
Also every Pirates fan knows Bednar's song is Renegade. Though idk if they'd still be playing that in Chicago, it's such a Pittsburgh song, they even play it at Steelers games.
White Sox almost got no hit two games in a row they so ass 😭😭😭
Love the series, Kenny. Glad to see the Sox heading in the right direction. BBRef guide says it is "Robert" (just as it looks) and Mr. Paredes is (for some reason) "e-sock." All hail King Thorpe.
the reason is that’s the Spanish pronunciation
Love the series Kenny! KEEP IT GOING!!
5- 3rd base
6- shortstop
4- 2nd base
3- first base
31:15
So a 6-4-3 means shortstop got it, flipped to 2nd base who then passed to the first basemen
It’s a weak challenge but now that you said it you gotta do at least one game with no headphones 😂 44:35
Luis Robert Jr's name is pronounced Luis Row-burr silent T but I don't think it matters that much. Great Series!!!
Luis row bear
@@NATUR3F33LS that's not how Luis says his own name and I'd rather take it from his mouth

KEEP GOLFING AND MAKING THIS SERIES FOR MY MENTAL HEALTH

Might be the best series on yt fr
I click on these videos as soon as I see them. Really enjoying the Kenny baseball content
Kenta does pitch for the tigers in real life but he’s been struggling so far this season
Chafin is such a kind guy, though he looks like farmer which he is but for the most part he cares about everyoje
Nothing like a good ole PCI switch to make you feel better about your game 😂
As a rangers fan bro i was kinda hoping youd pull the trigger on Wyatt Langford lmaoo dudes a stud
Yes Parker meadows is related to Austin meadows. They were both on the tigers last year but Austin was dealing with mental health problems so he isn’t on a team right now
My newest favorite RUclips series
JUAN TORRES MAY BE A GEN PLAYER..
BTW, Kenny, if you're gonna make defensive replacements for catchers, you should have an emergency backup catcher just in case the replacement gets injured, that way you don't have to play someone out of position
I'd option Locklear down to AAA if he still has options left so he can develop and play more instead of sitting on the bench
The numbers go by position 1-pitcher, 2-catcher, 3-1B, 4-2B, 5-3B, 6-SS, 7-9-LF, CF, RF
10 - coach
11 - ball boy
12 - general fans
13 - owner
I have been waiting for this all day 😂

One tip is to look at players contracts and trade your player who is on there last year
IDK if you know this but when you get a guy 100% scouted, if you do him one more week you will see his true stuff, the scouted potential and overall isnt always correct (even tho it says 100% scouted)
switch fletcher and wisdom in the order so you can put a contact guy in between the two power guys in paredes and wisdom
Dynamic difficulty
Loving the series, this makes me want to buy MLB the show also I wanna see some more player locks
love the long episodes
If you want Quero to get better. He needs to play over Yan Gomes
I know Edgar Quero is a stud in my franchise mode
Kenny, move Wisdom to first and Isaac to third. Wisdom is horrible on defense but at 1st it doesn’t matter as much as 3rd.
Austin and Parker Meadows are brothers, you were right about that.
u should probably look more at OPS for hitters instead of batting average
for everyone saying it’s robare, just look at his name pronunciation on baseball references name pronunciation guide
Kenny knows he put a clickbait putting that 17 on his thumbnail, knowing he's not trading for Ohtani.
Regardless, I am happy for all your successes. You and YoungNarrow got me back into basketball and I'm grateful for it. I hope you know that!
I ain’t even notice
he traded for paredes, who wears 17
favorite series
I feel you should put pitching at legend and keep hitting at HOF cause we love you
i would build your own trades its like reverse 2k the trade finder will make you give up more value than building your own
You should trade for high potential guys in the draft from other teams
I look foward to these
How do you get trade offers in the show I’m new to the game
Paul Paredes, the Lisan Al-Gaib
Ya Parker meadows and Austin meadows are brothers and Austin used to play for the tigers but he left the team for mental health issues
finally were back
white sox broadcasts and in stadium announcers say rah-burt
shoutout lance thomas and mccormick gore
Randy Johnson 13 straight Ks
Austin meadows has struggled with mental health and is taking a break for baseball
U should look at OPS and other stuff rather than just average
Gotta get rid of wisdom! Keep Locklear for a backup bat
love u bae, have your fun we love it
just for the future, it’s pronounced ee-sock puh-ray-dees. ofc wouldn’t expect you to know that but thought if he’s a big part of the future it would be good to know
Isaac Paredes is pronounced ee-sock puh-ray-days
Can we get a 7 day straight!!!
Parker and Austin are brothers if you were curious Kenny
46:14 Austin Meadows had some mental health issues that took him away from baseball
who is going to tell kenny that 22 years old is relatively young in baseball. this is not the nba buddy you can’t go 1 and done in college.
Put Quero in the lineup !!
I know he’s raking in my franchise mode and 72 overall
Paredes? Paredes nuts
I like your videos bro
Paredes first name is pronounced E-sock
Just so you know Kenny it’s pronounced eee-sock and not eye-zick. I
Hope you like the references and you understand what I mean lol
Redo that trade and get these players back
who the fuck is paulie kanorko??
Ion know who said ParaDEES but its a hispanic name, it's pronounced paw-ray-dayse
Instead of Isaac his name is pronounce E-Sock
