So happy my fellow Americans eye's are going to be opened to Benedict. He is such an amazing actor....been obsessed with him since the first Sherlock episode.
Awesome film ! BC was mesmerising in his role as the villanous.....probably shouldn't say without a spoiler alert. But look out Hollywood, BC has arrived ! Loved the reversal and replay of a previous great Trek moments. As a trek fan who remembers the original series ( in it's first re-run back in the early 70's) have to say that JJ Abrams got it spot on. Can't wait to see what he does with Star Wars. Amazing, the guy stays true to the original premise while making it contemporary.
Indeed! I think I would cry because Erik is one of my favorite characters, and Benedict Cumberbatch is one of my favorite actors! Oh, god, I would be a fangirling mess when I went to see the movie!
It is a STAGGERING difference between his weight as Sherlock, and his character in Star Trek. THOSE DAMN CHEEKBONES!!! A true chameleon! Can't wait for the movie, and Series 3!
He's amazing. I'm so happy to hear he loves star wars more. Even though he fulfilled and stepped into such an iconic role. He's so talented. Screw the fact he doesn't ethnically fit the part he made Khan his own. That is the mark of a true actor.
Thank you :D I was thinking about that earlier today and i was like damn...I'd see that! And ironically enough I'd still be rooting for the phantom even though he's even more psychotic in the book! And i don't think it's possible for Benedict to be ugly for me, just as it was for Gerard Butler in the musical version. So yeah, that would be soooo epic!
Not to be kinda off topic here, but who here besides me think he'd make a good Erik, from Phantom of the Opera? Not the broadway musical one, no, but like if they ever made another movie based on the book, he'd make a really good Erik I think. but who cares, he's awesome :D
Benedict Cumberbatch is Khan to me. No offense to Ricardo Montelbhan who i love dearly as a person and an actor but Cumberbatch just did a better job as Khan he made the role his and made Khan way more menacing.
"I am ...better."
"At what?"
"EVERYTHING!"
Huge, cheeky grin on my face the entire time. His sheer excitement... Bless this interview. I am so bloody proud of Benedict. :')

"that was me, grimassing in a Paramount Way" ;-)

yet another point for this lovely man, the fact that he is a star wars fan. CAN HE BE ANY MORE PERFECT!?!
I love his spin on this John Harrison character,he played it so well but I can never forget the original.

OMG! He loves Star Wars! I love him even more now!
What a great interview!
Freakin Benedict Cumberbatch... Beautiful voice, cheek bones, everything!
His cheekbones are still in the frame when the camera's on the interviewer!!
That would be SO amazing!!!
Right at 3 minutes....that "HHHHMMM" of frustration...I am dead inside
"It was on around tea-time, wasn't it?"
I CANNOT GO ON.
OH MY GOD. I SERIOUSLY WAS JUST THINKING THAT!
It totally would! One of these days, let's just hope :) Fingers crossed Phantom of the Opera fans :)

Damn. Those cheekbones.
3:00 is the best. THE BEST.

Benedict is my actor hero.

3:01 what did he say there? :/
Obsessed by Star Wars rather than Star Trek ? Now that's my kind of man...
the background is moving...
That voice, too perfect for a villain

Well yeah
oh hell yes. ;)

3:00 MY GOD
HE'S SUCH A BAD ASS OF A VILLAIN!!
Benedict Cumberbatch is Khan to me. No offense to Ricardo Montelbhan who i love dearly as a person and an actor but Cumberbatch just did a better job as Khan he made the role his and made Khan way more menacing.

That sound he makes... the hmmm part at 3:00 was so hot!!!! Oh god!!! I wana see him get mad
Benedict? Don't you mean Sherlock, Dr. Watson? xD
2:26...and 3:00
Wouldn't you?
His cheekbones are so sharp that I would cut my hand if I slapped him.
That's wht Irene Adler said
he cried as kirk dad died? aaaawwww :)
Me too :D Let's hope some director reads this comment or something XD That'd be great :)
John Harrisson??? his name is KHAN!
sherlock
those cheekbones have a face and some hair on
finding it hard to concentrate on the words that are coming out of his mouth keep getting distracted by those CHEEKBONES. wow.
i get the feeling the interviewer is flirting with ben...
I actually wrote a character designed around him lol Creepy I know XD
I cannot imagine how difficult it must be not to spoil anything. I mean, he can't really talk about his character at all!
i dont think they wanna spoil the movie? I dont know haha
It's okay. We all have been creepy at least once in our life. ;)
SO THEY'RE GOING TO THE KLINGON HOMEWORLD! O-O KRONOS!
SPOILER ALERT. He plays KHAN.
Ah who am I kidding? I'm creepy almost all the time, but in a fun way though XD
Lol he want to be Han Solo to "get the girls". Teenage boys... Well, now the man doesnt need to be anyone else to be able to do that.
:D
lmao tea time?
Khak.
