dont whant to be negative but the camber link should be in the original position as that would not changed two things at once. moving link up changes roll center in the same time as the hub is raised. to me it looked like the car where faster in response with low hub pin height but it needed to be driven harder slide it in to the corners and drift it round the sweeper after the long straight. also the case of severe nitrofinger made the car inconsistent with the on off on off on off power in the turns. BTW it where years since i raced nitro but i prefered power down the straight brake turn then roll on power out of turns.
Hammer I have another question, I saw that you made 2 videos talking about rear ride height and you talked about the pill inserts you said in 1 video the arrow facing out is narrow and the the other is arrow facing facing out is wider which one is true I just saw botj videos today
Sorry if I may have said it backwards. Some of these things are easy to get twisted when talking about them. The inserts pointing out are wide and pointing in are narrow. Hope this helps.
Hammer, so lower hub height is for high grip and higher for lower grip? I ask cause I heard some pro guys say lower lower hub height for low grip but they have different cars. I drive the HB d815 Ty Tessman edition and I want your opinion on it thanks
No. It sounds kind of confusing. I had to go back and watch what I said in the video. On the last run, I had the "pills" in the lowest position, which raises the hub. This made the car more aggressive with less grip. I hope this makes sense.
If you get the invisible speed book it talks about what all of this does, it’s pretty interesting stuff
Awesome video 👍🏾
Thanks!
