8:50 This is gold. I usually select. Do a shortcut to flatten everything on a new layer. Then mask. Then if I need to warp it, I need to apply the mask. This is way better!

Since 3rd grade, me and my crew where drawing comics that we rented around the class. StarWars fueled my imagination so I kept drawing all through high school (barely made the grades) and went on to study Graphic Design at the University. My dream was to work for Disney or a Hollywood studio so I packed my things and my dad loaned me $300 to fly to LA from Mexico... I interviewed with Disney and they wanted to see more of my drawings. Unfortunately I had ran out of money and needed to work... some 30 years later, I'd made a career in Apparel Creation at a sports company in Portland OR and just about a year ago, I decided to get back to do what I love since I was kid. I invested on a Huion Kamvas Pro 16 Tablet and started learning digital illustration & Im like a fish on fresh water! Some will say that I am too old to even try but when you follow the path of what you love, you are bound to reach the destination. Thanks for reading me - god bless!

The initial sketch is more dynamic than the finished piece because of the twisting of the torso. I think it is kinda stiff. But the painting is sick,nonetheless

I've been listening to your videos on loop for years, do you have a podcast or thought about doing one? I'd listen to it for hours, your art is amazing and you mentality and attitude are even better
Thank you for saying that this work took you six to six and a half hours to complete. Whenever I see digital artist working on something, it's almost always in time-laps. Which can make one think that it did not take them long to complete the artwork. Even if someone has to spend a few hours or days on a piece, that's okay!
If you don't want to spoil twilight monk for yourself guys do not pause this video! I accidentally did it when the timelapse started and now I know the name of this badass lookin character
I have 2 methods when it comes to layers. A) I have just the one layer. Typically personal work. If not it be some stupidly high number of layers. B) Some stupid amount of layers for concept/design work. Won't lie, I like method A more. Sorting through all the 800+ random layers of method B with literally a brushstroke gets annoying after awhile.
Most of these features exist in CSP and work identically to how they do in Photoshop. It doesn't have the Liquify filter to my knowledge, however, but that's it. Darken, lighten, overlay, multiply and layer effects are all in CSP. If you have any trouble finding anything or figuring out how they work, the forums and RUclips are your friend :)
Question: I have your hearthstone illustration workshop (bought around a year ago I think. Thanks for adding new stuff by the way, that was cool), and while i havent done the final assingment, i have been practicing, and will do the prompted illustration very soon. The thing is, I really cant stand twitter. Do you glance at stuff on instagram as well or just twitter? Thanks.

When I hear " use that black line art " no offense. Is it just me that cringes heavily due to, 1. Black = Grey, when mixed. 2. Just use darker blues or darker colors... Though I get why you would sense it is hard to print darker colors.
