This publication above and the text - Chinnamasta: The Aweful Buddhist and Hindu Tantric Goddess - by Elizabeth Benard are currently the two most useful English publications on the topic of Vajrayogini.

Thank you for another nuanced video on Vajrayogini; I’m grateful to learn more. Interesting about the Newar worshipping so many different forms. I’m very interested to hear more about Taranatha’s “Ringjun Gyatsa” Vajrayogini material, please.

Please read Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche's 'New Guide To Dakini Land'.

Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche of the New Kadampa Tradition wrote many volumes on Vajrayogini, particularly 'New Guide To Dakini Land'. His books are profoundly detailed, and are especially for practitioners.

Maybe BVM is a form of Vajrayogini with a few more clothes on? I thought Tara was most popular female deity?

You are right that Taras are the most popular than any other female deities.
