Why quote Wikipedia? They have been in error frequently.

Scholars need to understand Nepal has been an ancient nation separate from India for thousands of years. Please stop minimizing Nepal and give credit where its due. Please understand Nepal and its contribution in origin of this eastern religion. I never hear Nepal being mentioned in these conversations. Dakinis, Vajrayogini , tantra etc. these subjects are never complete without mentioning the Nepal valley which is the where tibetan budhhism originated. Its where parts of tantra, hinduism and buddhism melted together. The Newars were the first practioners of such culture. And we still practice it. Give credit where its due please 🙏
