This is an old poem turned to song, many famous Russian singers have sang this before but on Diana's cover it manifests it's true meaning.
Many of those singers try to convey hopelessness, vulnerability, sadness but this song is nothing about that, it is about lost love but most importantly this song is about power and conviction, a woman determined to fight everyone and everything even God him self to get back her loved one, she is not here to barter or beg.
Diana's powerful voice transmits that conviction.
