8-4 for Akhmadaliev. He landed more power shots, more total shots and was more in control of the fight. Roman wasnt active enough. Even his own trainer thought he didnt do enough. Those that say Roman won are clearly blind.
Should’ve been an immediate rematch as Roman’s bodywork didn’t get enough credit and it was a very close fight that normally can go to the champ. Whoever was Roman’s manager failed him, should’ve had a rematch clause but nonetheless, MJ is an incredibly talented fighter an would like to see him fight Fulton, Figueroa , Nery an etc.

The opinions on this issue with this fight really differ. I thought MJ won. Roman I believe does have a case for a rematch, but I dunno if he wins that fight
The manager as well as Danny have been asking for the rematch publicly, clearly the winner was Danny as MJ did not dominate the fight, it was clearly set up for MJ to take the win, DZON Eddie Hearns have been trying to set up Danny, DZON not happy with Danny taking the win over McDonnell and Doheny. Like I said Danny and his manager keep asking for the rematch, but obviously MJ ‘s team turns the other way and ignore it.

What a robbery the commentators have been paid to misscommentate the fight.
Then who paid them, genius? Murodjon is uzbek, and uzbeks are not wealthy enough to waste money for commentators, and even judges. So there can't be an unfair win of an uzbek boxer.

Хороший бой!!! Роман не плох,но Муроджён лучше!!!Вскрывал,ловил Романа,как консервную банку,когда тот шёл на открытый бокс,а не в закрывашки,вынуждено, играл из за нехватки боксёрского таланта.

I had it eight rounds to four in favor of Akhmedaliev.
He was able to land more effectively to the head earlier on and then towards the end of the fight he started countering Roman to the ribcage and making Roman more hesitant to throw punches.
I did feel, however, that Murodjon coasted in the last round (I scored the twelfth for Roman,) and he cannot do that.

Almost embarrassing to see the commentators point out every single attack by the inactive Akhmadaliev, while completely ignoring Roman's higher work rate - & it seemed like Roman's bodywork & counters to the head were ignored by the judges - Akhmedaliev's punches look spectacular because they're wide, but Roman out-worked him & did a lot more to the body.
Akhmadaliev had a brilliant 10th round, clearly dominated it, but all the other rounds were close, & could have gone either way - a challenger shouldn't be able to win title simply by throwing one or two flurries per round, & it didn't look like Akhmadaliev's low work rate warranted him winning Roman's title IMO.
Maybe Eddie Hearn wasn't happy that Roman didn't follow the script in the McDonnell & Doheny fights - beating them both - so he decided Roman's title reign went on for long enough...
I don't know about the scoring but it seems to me that Roman landed more and he's very consistent.... He always comes back each time the other guy hits him imo...

@@awesomeclips7563 oh, I also think so. I watched it twice, with a strong concentration in second time. Many people think Roman won, because he was superior in last rounds. But the winner is indicated according to the whole fight.

Everyone is saying that Roman actually won. But I think Murodjon won his opponent with an obvious difference; especially, in the first 6 rounds, he almost destroyed Roman.

Honestly felt like Roman got the better of the fight. MJ has flashy punches so if you're not paying close attention you can easily miss Romans counter punches. And in a close fight like this one the last round tells who's in better condition and in control.
Roman lose this fight because his not throwing more punch.

I think Roman won the fight. Akhmadaliev has a style but for a world class level, he needs a much more level of skills especially a lot of fighters in this division are also high calibers.
