    1966 Dinar: n 1966, banknotes (dated 1965) were introduced in denominations of 5, 10, 50 and 100 dinara. They used the same obverse design as the 1955-1963 notes. 500 dinara notes were added in 1970, followed by 20 and 1000 dinara in 1974.
